Hi.,

Can anyone tell me whether non gujarathi are eligible for admission to BK school of business management subject to satisfactorily rank in GCET as I am tamilnadu.

Answer is NO.
GCET test is only for those who has done there 12th std from gujarat.
Other state student are not allowed or they dont have any quota in the GCET exam.

Eligibility criteria for GCET
1. 12 th std form gujarat.

i would like to know what is the date for GCET MBA exam and by what date do we get the forms....

Eligibility criteria
12th std from Gujarat,
graduation from university from Gujarat.

GCET exam is in the month of june or july.
Notification of GCET can be seen in GUJARAT SAMACHAR or
TIMES OF INDIA of Gujarat edition.
AFter announcement form are filled up within 14 days.
Exam within 20 days. Result comes with in 20 days from the date of exam taken.
froms can be taken from 10 centres across Gujarat. U have to submit it to these 10 centres alone.
There is no online form available.
U cannot buy or submitt form by post or any other means.

The following is the criteria for giving GCET with which GCET is affiliated.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA (full time) and MCA in brief:
(1)Candidates graduated from a University recognized and located in Gujarat State;
(2) Candidates who have graduated in a 3-year course from a University outside Gujarat State but have passed Std. XII or its equivalent examination from a recognized school located in Gujarat State;
(3)(a) For MBA, the candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation (45% in case of SC/ST candidates);
(b) For MCA, the candidates must have passed
(i) Std. XIIth (HSC) or its equivalent examination or graduation with Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects:
(ii) should have done graduation in any discipline including BCA from any University of Gujarat;
(4) A candidate who has appeared for the final year (Bachelor’s Degree) examination of any University (subject to conditions 1 to 3 above ) shall be treated as provisionally eligible.

Wards of Kashmiri Migrants: One supernumerary seat will be provided in each institute as per inter-se merit of such applicants in the GCET 2007 merit list. For details visit the website.
