my take on the exam

quant(same difficulty level as Dec one)-34 attempts
LR-(Tougher than dec one)-28-30 attempts
DI-(slightly tougher than dec one)-28-30 attempts
VA-(tougher than dec one)-28 attempts
overall -118-122 attempts

last time 99.96 score(attempts 130)
this time cant say

Naa...the cutoffs would most probably lie a lot higher.... more in the 120 range if you ask me...and what is all this about with GK and without GK marking? does it make a difference... I would be pretty sure they would count that, no point putting that in the paper otherwise right?

When u select that option , whether or not u want to take MH-CET ( i m talking of OMS candidates here)
there is a specific notification that comes up that the best of these 2 scores will be taken.. either MHCET or the exam that u wrote, CAT/MAT/XAT etc...

Some colleges consider GK score for giving calls..
while the others do not take GK score... so it's for them that they give different scores.. it's given in the mat brochure..

@ rohanmanx.. just wen thru the Dec MAt and Sept MAT 2007.. Found this MAT a bit on the tougher side....

but lets see..... Infact NMAT was also on the toughers ide compared to last year.. but in the end cut off was really on the higher side...

Now I seriously dnt know....how to predict cut offs...

Who in the whole world told u tht JB looks at GK score? Pls refrain from misinforming fellow puys... JB takes MAT scores thru MAH CET where only the overall percentile matters... and GK is NOT considered while calculating overall percentiles...

I think u are missing something.... Actually Gk scores are not taken into consideration while calculating overall MAT score or Overall Percentile...


But as said by scorpion_girl they can be considered by individual institutes...but are you sure about JB????

I am sure they dont take gk as such, they only convert ur mat percentile to corresponding score
