and about the essay,,,,it sometimes can be on political isssues of your state, or development in the country, or on cricket, and so on....

in gd/pi please do wear salwar suit only.....it comes under formal dress...it should not be a fancy one but a simple and sober.

you must carry all your documents in original and photocopies of all as well....do carry some passport photos and ofcourse your call letter :-)
A pen,pencil......and the prospectus of the college or just do remember the registration number,,,,because it will be required at the time of entrance.....
take all the extra curricular certificates also,,,,and a water bottle because you may have to wait a lot.....thats it..
i hope institute had send you the list of items to be carried at the GD/PI...

Resume is needed.....after all you are going for a interview dear....and in interview how can u go without a RESUMe........???????

no it is not required as all d points r covered dere in d application form itself but if u want u may carry it wid u.

you can try any depending upon your convineance but prefer formal shirt and trouser
