Hi guys,

I am creating this thread for those who have registered for IMS SIMCET-08.
On this thread we will be discussing how was the exam and what score we got. What strategies we need to follow for a particular type of question came in test. What was the diffculty level. etc

So start pouring your thoughts in this thread.

SIMCET-1 I got 85 marks including the flukes that got correct.

According to me
VA: Easy
Quants: Moderate
Verbal reasoning: Moderate
Non verbal reasoning: Tough

Well simcet 1 was ok visual reasoning was moderate ,
BTW i think ims simcets r given by very less no. of ppl !!!

Hi Chirag,
Yes it seems that not many people are giving IMS simcet. But I saw a thread started in 2006 and it had a good response so I too thought to open this thread for 2008.

Hey Piya, You didn't marked any tukkas kya????
I believe that you should have practice of that as well because it consumes some time as well. I took 15mins to mark all 200 questions.

im not able to access my simcet score on the ims website. when i enter all the details i get the 'please enter correct information' message...

HEY HAS NEBODY TAKEN IMS CORRESPONDENCE COURSE...IF YES PLEASE POST IN YOUR MAXCET SCORES HERE...SO THAT WE CAN COMPARE OUR MARKS AND WORK ON OUR WEAKNESS....

YEST I TOOK MAXCET COMPREHENSIVE-2...and managed to get only 75 .....

my score in the first simcet:
88, 95%ile, rank 144.

lets keep up the steam guys till the actual cet

By the way i request you all to go through the cet results 2006 thread its really insightful...

Can anyone quote the cutoffs for JBIMS and KJSOMAIYA last year for OMS? If there is any separate link for CET please post the link.

Do we have provisions for entering experience in the application form of CET 2008. I do not find any in the form. We have personal details, educational details but no experience details.

Please respond as soon as possible.
