wow haresh bhai gr8 initiative !!

First of all ... Were you an OMS candidate ?

If yes .... It would be gr8 if you can chart out the exact procedure for an OMS candidate to gain admission in SIMSREE. [Tot. seats for OMS + The min. MAT percentile usually required + The ideal score in GD-PI-PAR-WE etc....]

Also how does Sydenham fare vis-a-vis say KJS, Welingkar ... in terms of placements and infra. etc

Thnx

Yes, I am an OMS candidate.

Regarding procedure of admission, there isn't much difference from other category candidates except that we are supposed to submit our MAT, etc. scorecards after the GDPI, most probably in the beginning of the month of June.

For OMS, there are 9 seats in each of the courses of PGDBM and MMS.

The last student that made it into Syd last year had 168 total score. And 99.87 in MAT meant 135 marks. Given that 33/40 in GDPI is not very difficult, I guess this is the kind of percentile you need to get to make it into Syd. Yet, I think the cut-off might still go higher because of the increasing competition.

The infra is good and is improving at a fast rate.

Regarding placements, etc, you can visit the website of the college:
SIMSREE

And yes, it's cutoff remains second highest after JB if you're asking how the college fares

This year's placements data isn't out yet. It should be out soon. And I'll post it as soon as I come to know about it

If I'm not wrong, last year, last OMS person who made it into Syd had 99.87 percentiles.

I guess you are perhaps not aware that this year only Feb-MAT are going to be considered for admission. Hence, the cutoffs should go a little lower.

All the best.
