am looking at chetnas this year for an MMS programme, could anyone from the current batch help me with some information about the college, the education system there... the professors, fees etc.

hey mate, firstly, srry for the late reply.
CRKIMR as an institute was founded in the year 1981 and is the oldest institute in Mumbai after JBIMS. As such, it enjoys quite a repute in the professional circles. The infra is gud too with a wi-fi campus, a big comp lab, a well equipped library, roomy class-rooms etc.
We have a decent faculty mix as well. Our mktg. & fin. profs are exceptional to say the least. Plus we have visiting faculties who come frm diverse industries and coll such as jb, syd, weli, nmims etc.
The fees this year was Rs. 1.18 l.p.a. approx. It might increase by a few thousands this year though.

hi rajni,
as such it is very difficult to predict cut-offs based on the written scores because they vary each year. Still to give u some perspective, this year my OMS friends have scored anywhere between 125 to 135 in the written exams. But as i said, each year sees different cut-offs. To be on the safer side though, try getting above 140 if u can. That way, who knows, u even might get into JBIMS!

For all those who would like to apply for Chetana's pg course.....the course has been granted AICTE recognition. so shed ur doubts & fears aside and go for it.
