I'm giving u an overall picture for wherever u go..for an MBA / job interview..
People r more interested in your today and not your past...if they dont see anything substantial in your "today" thats when they try getting into your acads or any cracks in profile...

So...dont think about these small things...all u do is get charged up...times running out of hands...focus on ur aptitude tests and sharpen ur soft skills ...there r alwaz ways to overpower ur past...

is there any oms candidates who got through cet in here it has been mentioned in dte site that oms candidates applying for institutes in mah through cet r required to pay full fees

Rule 6.2 Regarding payment of fees of Rs.10000/- during confirmation of Admission for OMS Candidates stands cancelled.OMS candidates are require to pay full fees at the time of confirmation of admission.

...If this is the condition then cant we get any education loans and r we supposed to pay the full fees at time of admission....kindly rep me soon pls..

Umm good one... yes you do have to pay fees for the first year in case of MMS. And SIES does have a tie up with SBI for providing education loans. You can opt for a loan from a bank of your choice too.
As to OMS candidates having to pay full fees, will get that clarified from the MMS OMS junta ASAP... like say 2mm evening.... Till then cheers http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/images/smilies/listen.gif

it is mentioned that at t time of counselling we must pay the fees then how will we be able to get t loan to pay at t time of counselling....does that mean we have to pay the full from our hands at t time of admision.

Can u give us the info abt what should be expect in the written exam of SIES for PG course.Is it similar to CET????How many marks does it carry???Which areas are tested???In short whatz the paper structure(no of q's,marks alloted to each question,total marks)
what was the cutoff last year for PG course and how much weightage is given to written exam.
Are there any marks for work exp???

Hi Pradeep,
A few pointers:-
1) The PGDM forms will be out in December mid.Keep an eye for notifications here :: S.I.E.S. ::

2) The process comprises of
(i) Written Test - 60 marks - 45 min - 1 mark per question
(ii) GD - 6-10 members per group
(iii) PI - 1
(iv) PI - EXTEMPORE ROUND - a topic will be given n u need to give an intellectual view on it...u will be judged on parameters like ur GK, Communication skills,personality/presentation , intellectual abilities...basically how smartly u present urself

3) Nature of Written Test
- No negatives
- CET/MAT Nature
- Quant/Vocab/RC/DI/Visual Reasoning

4) Weightage on workex
Although there are a substantial amount of Workex people in our batch , there are some potential and talented Freshers...
So SIESCOMS doesnt differentiate a lot although yes, it helps if u r having workex.
Eg: A good friend of mine who was working in a leading IT Company for 3 years wasnt selected. So...u know there is competition. Mere workex wont assure a seat.

Srini...as of now all our OMS MMS frenz r back home for Diwali...once they r back...I'll surely touch up on this n let u know ok

I have been reading most of the posts these daz ...
Planning to join a Mumbai insti...
i did visit the campus of a few colleges...

yaa the campus is pretty good @ SIESCOMS...
I did visit the temples too...n u all guys flocking with a lappie around ...pretty cool..

My friend was in some event for BMS fellas...even she said u guys r very well managed

I'll surely fill the form up...
even my counseller @ TIME told me that SIESCOMS is coming up like anything...
kudos to it...n u guys doin a gr8 job too!!!

will trouble u guys for more info as n when reqd...thnzzz

hey i knw i was in confusion too last yr whether to go for SIESCOMS or no...but trust me...its pretty good...people here take efforts ..they got good corporate interactions too...
