Hey I have given cet earlier and my basic concern is the same......i am just able to attempt 140-150 questions with accuracy of 105-110 approx......Can each one of u guyz share ur inputs of how u prepared to extend those attempts to 170-180 with high accuracy...any shortcuts and tips on approaching the paper would really help me.

i hope u won't mind my butting in like this. but niru's question felt so close to my own experience of last year that i cudn't resist the temptation of answering her query. sorry....

anmol got it right there when he stressed the importance of accuracy in cet. u say u manage to answer abt 150 questions in ur mocks. that shud be enough if u get ur accuracy up. i never ever managed to attempt over 150 ques in my mocks. even in cet, if i remember correctly, i had answered 146 questions in all. and i scored 128 (99.52%ile). so even if i provide for say arnd 13 marks for the guess work (from the remaining 54 unanswered ques.), even then i answered 115 ques. correctly, didn't i? now if i hadn't scored less in gd-pi i cud well have been in one of the top colleges (not that i regret joining Chetana's).
so my point is that try working on ur strengths. pick ur best 150 ques. and try attempting them with max accuracy. remember: there are no short cuts here. just work on the basics and solve enough practice papers. that shud do the trick.

Here goes,
We had a GD with around 8 people and one faculty member + one person from the industry.
We had 2 PI`s, one had 2 faculty members, I got grilled by them on my background, what would be my career plans and specifics of Why an MBA and so on.
The next PI was with a senior gentleman, pretty relaxed, asked me general questions. For EG How did you travel to SIES ? And what I do in a situation (hypothetical)
Thats all....

Rentals are around 3.5 k - 5k per month.. you can share the costs. deposit is arnd 40k, but in certain cases has been waived off
Will be more than glad to help you out.... Also there are a couple of hostels around and decent places to chow down...

They should be out by January, if the admission schedule follows last year`s pattern. If otherwise we will post it on PG as soon as they come out.

we have our event annual "Virtualities" from Jan 12-19.. The admissions team is workin to get the forms out jus after the event is over . So let all ur friends know to keep checkin the website for updates.

Ok so from these posts I know realise that I need to buy SIES forms in addition to CET forms.
Does this apply to Welingkars as well?
Do Welingkar and SIES conduct their own exams???

Hi,

The forms under discussion were for pg course where SIES has their own exam and for MMS u have to apply through CET(written+gd+pi)...same is the case with welingkar but even for pg course for welingkar they accept CAT/CET/MAT/ATMA and other written scores and u have to appear for gd/pi separately.
