Hi all PGDM courses provide their students with a bulk deal of laptops which are cheaper n convenient considering service ...we have a techie coming each week for free servicing...but yea..MMS course doesnt demand a lappie...altho by second sem...most of the students do carry one!!!

Have a bunch of questions for MMS seniors, if PG guys know the answers then a reply from them also will be appreciated....

1. Has SIES tied up with any bank for education loan? When should the bank be approached and how much time does it take for the processing?
2. If a laptop is something that every1 ends up buying, can this be included in the initial loan amount? has anyone has done this?
3. I am working and my notice period will end around 8th of August. Can someone find out when college will start? DTE says 4th. Is it OK to miss the first few days?

this is it for now, will ask more if anything else comes to mind....

P.S. me asking cos my CET score is 163 and i will mostly get into SIES and not Welingkar/Somaiya.

N i heard tat in top 5 institutes including SIES comps comes for winter placements after 1st semester.Is it true??

hi just called up sies and they were not sure whether the minority list will be out even by the end of next week man.dont know wats wrong, i mean how can the list not b prepared till now...while colleges like somiya hav done with their minority seats....tats bad on the part of sies management

Now after that u have SIESCOMS general category rank max wud come to 300-350 (based on people's choices...people in western lines will prefer Chtanas and Dalmiya to SIESCOMS). Now with that I think 165-168 shud be general list for SIESCOMS...deduct 10-12 marks and that wud practically be 155 marks...
