There are many who feel that this is marwadi quota. But actually it is hindi minority. As it gets clear and clear, the cutoff will increase year by year. Lastly it is very simple process. Apart from the normal documents, you just need one affidavate stating that your parents are from an north indian state.

Last year it was around 5L. You can check the website to confirm this. Regarding choice between SIES and Dalmia, i cannot comment as comparing B - Schools is not allowed here.
