Hi all aspirants, This indeed comes as a great news to all the students of the current batch as well as to the ones who intend to join it (people like me ).I myself feel that in the coming years PUMBA is going to be one of the top 15 institutes (could infact overtake JB and the so called self proclaimed great institutes of Pune who survive only on hype and glamour and are completely hollow within).........Guys simply wait and watch..... | | |  | | The Following User Says Thank You to warrior27 For This Useful Post: | | | | | |

OH man ....trust me....I just spoke wid a faculty....the news that has been shared is just brilliant. Some of the biggest names in Corporate India have been contacted b4 this press release. Guess what..I dun think the cut offs can be what they were like last year. PUMBA has by far created an edge not only amongst CET colleges....but across B-schools in curriculum. And now.....with industry being involved.....I see this initiative promoting PUMBA to a niche scenario where very few can even claim to be in. I also hear existing students are all gung ho about this pattern and r already complaining their loss
Trust me...warrior...watch out for the CUT OFFS now......

Hi acad,Fears have started creeping in , and i will heave a sigh of relief only on 21st of this month after i find myself in the top 80..i still feel i am safe..i am desperately hoping for that , and love to see this good news travel at snails pace at least until the CAP1 round..............one more thing that surprises me is the no aquarians participating not only on this thread but in pg throughout , i am one of them.......they are indeed the eternal optimists and genuine lovers of humanity. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to warrior27 For This Useful Post: | | | | | |

Students in Mumbai know very little of what PUMBA is really about (I do not blame them)...its a result of lot of factors. But, next year on, word of mouth and advertisements (yes they have aweready planned the campaign) will ensure stiffer competition. I have an indication...PUMBA has a chance of walking "OUT of CET" and get a tougher option (CAT probably) next year on. I guess we wud ave this thread in a different forum soon

amit | What do u wanna comment about OMS ranks, I feel the faster this reaches ears, the stiffer OMS competition gets for PUMBA. I can understnd Mumbai ppl just thinking of Mumbai colleges, for OMS its more about better colleges....Mumbai or Pune does not matter.

I also feel that this is one of the major turning points that will soon take PUMBA to greater heights, and all the CET takers will awaken to the fact sooner or later, hopefully sooner
