Hi Warrior

,
Its great to know ur interest in the curriculum and "one day" schedule....shows thr r ppl thru CET concerned bout curriculum rigour.
1) PUMBA has a TRIMESTER pattern....3 semesters per year...total 6 for 2 years. Each trimester in MBA 1 has 7 papers and the exams take place in 3 months each.
2)PUMBA does not just evaluate students on examination pattern. The syndicate activity process is an integral part of the curriculum. "Syndicate activities" include daily GD sessions, group street play (anywhere in the 400 acre university amidst nature), industry analysis, sectoral analysis, Book Review Program, group presentations etc. All these activities carry evaluation marks which add upto ur FINAL CGPA.
3) The continuous evaluation process also involvese weekly tests and quizzes on management related subjects. Marks, again, add to the FINAL CGPA
4) Alumni lectures, guest seminars- Every saturday there is a 2 hour slot alloted to an alumni for student interaction with corporate experience. To give u an indication, Project head frm Siemens, HLL, Honeywell, Karvy, SBI Life, Iffco, TAJ, Leo Burnett, Globus, Thermax....alumni from these companies visit PUMBA regularly.
5) Apart from the regular MBA subjects, PUMBA has 4 inter-disciplinary subjects- One foreign language and 3 from the other 44 departments of Pune University (namely international business, Econometrics [by Prof PG Apte], Global economics [by Prof Kalyan Shankar]...ahem some of the biggest names in the education university of Pune.
6) 3 compulsory projects- a 2 month summer internship after MBA 1, a 1 mth winter project in December of 1st year, and 1 month Social project in CSR and NGOs.
7) PUMBA also has etched its mark in extra curricular activities, from Druv (cultural week), to Summers to Nostalgia to NATSEM...its a joyride...organizing which u wud never wanna forget.
Now, imagine all this packed in just 10 months...each year....u have one helluva combo of busy schedule with great value addition...which I reiterate..NO CET college even comes close to for their MMS/MBA programs.
Cheers
