Very true!!The problem with the DTE model is that the scale of operations is too large to enforce uniformity, and quite frankly, one can't really blame the DTE top brass when he doesn't report the thing to them directly.
It's not just about our admissions.A more efficient procss is good for the brand images of all institutes associated with the CET process right from JB to any new entrant. After all, colleges like SpJain and NMIMS opting out of the CET system wouldn't have been without reasons.......
Think of people from allover India competing in a reputed and efficient entry process for entering JB/Syd/Pumba/KJ/Wel ALONG WITH fresh upcoming colleges that are sure to reach heights in the near future. Why do many upcoming colleges like Great Lakes take CAT scores??Why does our CET have to remain "Maharastra" CET rather than growing as a reputed all india level testing service that wins the trust of a lot many upcoming instis??
With all due rspect to CET, I wanna see a process that wins back a portion of seats in SPJ and NM,and perhaps gets acepted for ISB.I wanna see DTE as one of those government bodies that earn universal respect.Least of all,I want DTE's current operations to attain top notch efficiency, maybe an ISO certification. And the onus for that lies on us,the end customers.
We can try and chnage things one step at a time,or we can have our compalints...
