1) You will hav to fill the option form online, take its print out & then submit it at the ARC physically. Along with the option form, you will have to take ur otherscorecards, if applicable. The dates will be put on the DTE website.

2) By the time the date of option form filling form comes, you should get ur score card. If u dont, get a duplicate from AIMA. DTE doesnt accept any printouts of the score cards.

3) You can expect the merit list within 7-10 days.

That was my personal opinion based on my experience in last year's exam.

If u havnt figured it out yet, Am already in JB..

You will see that there will a lot of people on the scores of 176, 175 and 174. As I've always maintained, the scores on PG always give you a comfort feeling which can be unnerving when final ranking comes out.. :satisfie:

i think what u said is ryt, i am in a little comfort feeling now .
but people are not posting their scores.
it is going to be a very tedious experience to face this uncertainty.

Not a problem dude..

Ppl who dont put up their scores are those who are not on PG n who those who dont want to reveal their cards till the last moment.. It always happens..

Keep ur fingers crossed.. Cut Off is any body's guess..

Thnx for ur experienced analysis. My analysis (based on last year's data and lists) is also same, i.e the cutoff will be at 175 (as on today even not after 15 days). That is why I am in a dilemma whether to go for option form filling again ti Mumbai from Delhi (already 2 visits for ARC verification of form and then for GDPI has cost me more than 20k as the dates are always so near no rail travel is possible particularly when stay over is not possible for me now). As a back up I have already paid in DSE knowing that if I got JB I would lose the whole amount (as their classes start even before the final merit list by DTE will be out!). Ur post in fact has made my doubts more strong and therefore I am asking u a question, if u can reply it may not only help me but others too.

Is there any way we can really get some idea (idea only) about the rough estimate of the OMS merit specially the no. that may be there above , say, 175? Some calculation has been suggested by Conti but it is too rough, so I am trying to use ur analysis skill that u may have used last year (as from your posts last year it is apparent ur guess was quite near teh actual scenario). Secondly, what do you feel is it worth spending another 10k to fill the option form (as again the dates will be so near that no rail reservation will be possible!) with 175 this year (as my choice is only JB otherwise I am ok at DSE) with speculation that I may get within 18 for JB that two among first 2 girls as without hostel I will not be able to join JB (too many constraints!!).

i dont know u personally..
i sincerely feel that u would be doing a grave mistake if u would not make it to the ARC center.
i only have 174 but i am very optimistic that i would make it this year to JB.
I honestly suggest u not to get into people's statements .
Why r u leaving such a great chance. if u dont get thats OK, but not coming to ARC will only help people like me.
If i get in just because of people like u who are not coming to ARC, i dont know what to call u ..
I hope u r understanding what i am trying to say, speaking frankly i will be very much happy if people like u dont turn up..

Thanx for ur suport, in fact it is my desire to go ahead that has brought me to this statge but the wait and uncertainities are too much (stressfull, some times don't seem worth it). Not only admission but also a hostel seat and then the other joining dates have complicated the matter further that is why I just needed some indications either way. I hope u understand..
