CET 2007 Results for OMS(Outside maharashtra)

Hi ,
I am an OMS candidate. Due to the vague information given by the dte site, I had no option but to panic. I am not fully satisfied with the information given in the forum.

My query is exactly what all steps should I undertake for converting My May MAT score into CET one. 1) Should i send a courier for updation of my score? If yes, at exactly which address? or, 2) will dte come out with an link wherein all the OMS candidates will be asked to update scorers of all of the undertaken exams like cat, mat etc...

u can see the mental dilema through which I am passing......

Hi arpit!
There shd be no confusion..u need not send any of your marks to any...After publication of the GD/PI results, we have to convert our CET score to other exam scores (if it is required) at the same ARC where we have registered our application.. one can make this conversion anywhere by using the login ids, etc., but it has to be registered at the ARC, then only it will be taken into account. For this we have watch out for notifcation at website of DTE. After this, we will get the OMS merti number; then the CAP round process will start, round1,2 and 3 for oms ppl. where u hv to exercise your preference of institutes and accordingly u will be allotted the inst. Cap round 4 is for other than oms ppl. After all these, there will be cancellation round at institutes level (if seats remain at all for oms ppl?!)..hope now the process is clear to you...
btw wts yr CET score and other scores and which part u belong? atb..

i am oms candidate. i have got 99.34 in may mat. my gd/pi went very well and expecting above 30 in that. do i stand stand chance in jb. should i go to mumbai for further activities. i am confused as to whether i should go or not. from the score and various other threads i feel i dont stand a chance but due to some cancellation and any other reason do i stand a chance.

hi i hv convtd my mat scores...99.84....got 3 for acads...my gd pi went well...do i stand a chance 4 top 5...plz tell

With your marks, as per people in these threads, it is not possible for JB..coz for jb they indicate 99.80/99.90 plus a very good gd/pi score..but i thnk u hv good chance for kjsomaiah/welingkar/pumba with good acads and gd/pi marks. You need not go to Mumbai right now..once the gd/pi results are out and option form process begins, you have to register the option form at the same ARC where u hv filled the form earlier..this process goes on for 3 stages for oms ppl. if you get your choice out of 5 options in the first option form, then you are not eligible for further rounds and you hve to join that insti.for 2nd round, it is 7 options and like that..hopefully u may get in the 1st round or 2nd round..hope its clear now! atb!!

Well i called up the DTE helpline and they said that the final results will be out before 14th june...so all the best to all

Hi Guys,

I believe most of the OMS people are vying for JBIMS . I have a doc file of people who got in to JB in 2005 .

Apart from MBA 2006 allotment file you can check the following doc as the scores this year are similar to 2005 .

Well i have answered these types of questions time and again on this thread so please go thru them you can have the basic idea

now according to previous yrs calculations ur score would be 136+26=162

means you are out of contention of top 20 colleges for oms candidate

these are according to the cutoffs of oms in cet of last yr

now its upto you to decide which college you want to take and search for them
