CET GDPI and Scores

Hi guys
My friend got AIR 39 in CET merit list that was out yesterday. Which college can she hope to make it to??

hi Patrick D'souza,

I have got 147/240 in cet.(State rank:631 & University Rank:545)
My percentile was 99.32(126/200)
BUt scored miserably in gd(8/17) & pi(9/17) although the panelist told me that i was a "good student"
I have just finished wid my engg (results awaited).
Didn get in d top 5 (bajaj, sydhnem pg, syd mms, welingkar,somaiya) in CAP round 1(These were the only options i filled)
Do not know wat to do....
Should I compromise on the college n take up any other lower than these 5 institutes or should I wait till the last 4th round.
As back up i have a placement at Acccenture(IT company).
If i should compromise then which colleges should i fill in the 2nd round.I stay at peddar road.
Plz help me out....
My life's in a mess.. didn know would fair so miserably in the gd n pi....was expectin a really good score....
Plz tell me a solution as quickly as u can...

Hey Neha,
I know its terrible, the GD/PI, cause I too received similar scores. Don't worry. If it is possible, wait another year & apply for the CET2008. I am sure you would do very well there too.. Unless you are desperate to do it this year itself (like me)....

I was initially desperate to do it this year.....I had thought would get in atleat in somaiya or welingkar wid d percentile like mine....But now i m confused should i just wait for the next year( but dont know whether i ll study again) or compromise the college....

I hope i make it in welingkars in the 1st or 2nd wait list....

i am an oms candidate...have a rank of 294....was aiming at only the top 5 colleges in mumbai and pune...havenrt beern alloted those in the first cap round.....i am from delhi have no clue abt the other good coilleges in mumbai.....please guide me....

i want these for the cap round 2.....my earlier choices were jb, welingkar, somaiya, pumba, sydenham......

want to specialise in finance...please help

since youve already got in accenture, take it up and gain valuable exp..its a good company which will enhance ur resume....in the meanwhile u could prepare for CAT2007 or maybe even CET2008. If you feel u r a deserving student, dont compromise on the college and next time try for JBims. all the best!

hey puys.........

i have a lot of confusion ..plz help me out.........

1) Can non-OMS students (i.e. residing in maharashtra) also apply for the mat to cet conversion?

2) Which mat scores are considered for conversion (i.e. Feb,May,Sep,Dec)?

3) How tough is it to get a 99+%ile in MAT as compared to cet (or is it easier than cet)?

4) MOst important question is, am i at advantage if i go 4 the MAT to CET conversion, ur suggestion and opinions are welcome........
