To answer your question, SIES, Chetna and Dalmiya are decent options. Having said that, if you are confident work for a year and attempt CET again if you dont get into the colleges you mentioned.

Hi PPl can anyone tel me why the 2006 cutoffs for GOPENO are lower than GOPENH in MUmbai Colleges? It should be the other way round.
People who have gone thru last years institute wise allotment would be able to answer this question.

Hi Everyone,

Option forms will be available on 2nd July right?

What's the procedure to be followed after that. And do we need to download the forms or procure them from ARC.. I'm really unaware about the procedure..

Please guide what needs to be done.. Also right now, are there any formalities that need to be completed..

I HAVE GOT 125/240 IN CET, OPEN CATEGORY, my State General Merit No.- 3129 and University Gen. Merit No.- 2466..
WHAT COLLEGES SHOULD BE MY OPTIONS FOR THE FIRST ROUND.. HOW MANY COLLEGES CAN WE APPLY FOR IN THE FIRST ROUND.. SHOULD THEY BE IN ORDER OF PREFRENCE??
Please advise.

And is it that whichever college we get admission in the first round, we have to take it, right?

Well.. as far as i know...in the first round you can apply to 10 colleges. If, out of those 10, you get through in any one of the first five(in 1st round) or first seven(in 2nd round) then you cannot apply in the next round. Confirming the admission or not is upon you...there is no complusion on that...only thing being..no next round application for you.

And browse through other Cet thread ..you'll get a better idea. All of this has been already discussed in other threads

correct. only, 15 options in rnd 1, 20 in rnd 2 , 25 in rnd 3.

is top 5 any possibility? i want very eagerly the info.

look dude..problem is u come in 15% for pune and mumbai university..so very few seats for u..and ur obc rank in MAHA is 92..
e.g.
PUMBA having 180 seats out of which 27 for rest of mhara..out of which OBC got only 6 seats..so u r fight starts from dere..in ur university ur good but compare to other uni ur down..so first of all count all obc ahead of u..delete all obc from pune so that is ur original rank in maha..and then calculate ur chances..
