Can you plz tell me wht is this CAP.. and when result is gonna come out...?? do anybody can have answer key of d exam.?? which option was answer of most of d question..?? as i marked ans.2 for the question that i could not attempt... had ny1 else done like this..??

CAP rounds are rounds of admission to the collges through CET. There are 4 rounds and the details are mentioned in the brochure. YOu can change ur options for collges in each of the CAP rounds. Also there are some conditions in which u cannot apply to colleges if u get through a specific college of ur choice.
CET results are expected to be out on 23rd March.

I got this pdf file from the dte site - Institutewise allotement list. I assumed that this is the final list. But acc to what you say the cutoffs do come down. For eg acc to list it is 166 for K J. When you say the cutoff for K J was below 160 it can be assumed that the cutoffs do come down atleast by 8 - 10 marks even for the top institutes. For other institutes it might be even more. Am i right ?
How do we know the final cutoffs ?

Well the strategy for filling the options in in CAP rounds will depend on your marks. If you have scored very high (i.e. sure shot JB) or very low (not getting into top 5 colleges as per ur option) then there is no issue. The problem will come for those who believe they have a chance in 2nd to 5th colleges in subsecuent cancellations. So cant give a general strategy for everyone. Depends on your rank. But yes be clear as to what u want and fill accordingly. If your rank is 50-700 or so, I would not recommend you to fill all the top 5 options. Fill in JB, (Syd, Som, Wel) (depends on which order u prefer). Maybe PUMBA if ur keen. But how many options to fill will depend on your rank between 50-700.

sir my MAT score(99.89)converted is 148+4(academics)=152. what r my chances in cet.i have not written cet.i am an OMS candidate so what options r with me now.

I think the conversion link for this year is not out yet.The converted score which you are getting is for last year.This year they will update the link and as far as it seems from the discussion here the cutoffs will go on lower side hence your converted score will also go down.Wait till DTE announces link for conversion.
