Dear All GD PI aspirants,
Congratulations on your ATMA scores. The mantra to crack GDPI at PUMBA is simple and lies basically in your ability to speak eloquently on any topic under the sun. A basic awareness about current issues will be beneficial. Mock GDPI should serve the purpose. Wishing you all the very best for the preparations.
Cheers,
Sasidhar Sasidhar N

Good stuff Sasi,
Just to add on....the entire GD/PI process is conducted at the PUMBA campus. There is a gud mix of people within and outside the biotech industry.
Expect questions like-
1) Why MBA BT?
2) What do u comprehend in the Bio-Technology sector
3) U r favourite Biotech company
4) U r take on events and recent news in Biotech industry
5) Recent changes in the Budget which can impact the biotech industry...ur comments?
All the best

Honestly there is nothing like hard and fast rule to predict cut off. U must appreciate that ATMA is all India test and is accepted by many B schools. If U happened to score 99 % and they are more than 50 students who scored more than 99% and coin dentally all these 50 apply to PUMBA BT. Then even a score of 99% can be a tough score to squeeze with, into PUMBA unless and until you have a reservation to back it as there are just 30 seats in open category. But, If none of these 50 apply to this, then ur entry is a certainty. Bear one thing in mind that you must come to GDPI well prepared. When I say well prepared, I mean guessing most probable questions and coming with ready made answers. Rest of things like cut offs are just speculations.
For the moment just relax and watch our boys get tensed in Caribbean islands....to get cup.
Cheers,

RS....
I can tell a million things about the course but what matters is your expectation and vision about where you want to see yourself 10 yrs down the line. U can pick any standard magazine like biospectrum, pharmabiz and read extensively about this sector. I guess you don't want to blame anyone for your career choice. So, Pls read and make a judicious decision.
Cheers,

Hey Sasidhar,
I'd like to know the kind of preparation one can do for the GD PI of MBA BT precisely. I mean do we have to brush up our bio and chem concepts studied in grad or only the basics of science would do?.... Also... besides Biospectrum, wht other books would u like to suggest.... for the prep....?...
