@sabtech
sir/madam
i would be more appreciative of your efforts if you were to elaborate more on the b school.just mentioning the highest salary is of no use and are you trying to say n.l. dalmiya is better than jbims (if you mentioning it is the best in pgdbm then please specify it) and refrain from making such statements it would be much better if you can come out with the relevant information as to
cutoffs??
freshers:work ex
no of seats
faculty and other such developments
please dont misguide people by hyping your institution act like a sensible manager will speak a lot about your institution

1.First of all the reason I have quoted the pkg fig is 4 some people in Mumbai who hve doubts rgdn the credibility of the inst in general in terms of placements.
2.The institute has a avg package of 3.75 4 last yr..already 150 syudents of current batch out of 240 hve been placed ..so the pkg will rch an avg of 4.25 this yr....these figs can b confirmed wit the institute.
3. Faculty; As a matter of fact which can b confirmed by anyone..highest no of permanent faculty in Mumbai 32 in nos..
4.Cutoff MMS :145 LAST YR(MUMBAI CAND)
As in case of PG course if u hve decent acads n eligible score..the coll definitely gives weightage 2 work ex of atleast 6 months but not necessary in BPO's.......
5.Pepole can visit the campus n hve a look at the facilities being offered n put in their views....
ONCE AGAIN WOULD LIKE TO MENTION AM NOT HERE TO PROMOTE MY INST..I HVE BEEN THRU THE WHOLE PROCESS N FRANKLY WASNT AWARE BOUT THE INST MYSELF BFORE JOININ....
N.L.DALMIA IS NOT BETTER THAN JBIMS SINCE IT IS A INST ESTABLISHED ONLY IN 1995 BUT THE INST IS DOIN ALL THE THINGS TO MAKE SURE IT WILL BE THERE SOMEDAY VERY SOON........ | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say NO Thank You to sabtech For This Un-useful Post: | | | The Following 5 Users Say Thank You to sabtech For This Useful Post:

sir/madam,
again you have missed out on certain facts
is there a marwari quota in n.l.dalmiya?
if 3.75 was the avg c2c and as you claim that n.l. dalmiya is one of the best places for finance then what are the figures for marketing and hr?
if students are still being placed then does institute have rolling placement?
feshers:work ex the student breakup
which companies and what profile were offered?
1.25l is for a year or two and what is the total cost?
loans/bank tie-ups?
how many offers were contract based?
what was the avg sal for freshers?
what is the roi?
there is no use visiting the institute i have seen it and it does have descent infra but then the stats are what matters in the end as i know people from n.l.dalmiya working on the same positions that bba/bms freshers are working with a minimal pay difference
can you also give the usp of n.ldalmiya vis a vis wellingkar pgdbm kj pgdbm sydenham ogdbm | | | | | The Following 4 Users Say Thank You to captiancaveman For This Useful Post:

i truly agree with you coz i am a student of N.l Dalmia 2nd yr...
it is only good for finance n not at all good for marketing..
90% of the companies which have come in have been financial cos...n only 2% cos would have come for the 1st time for the placement
i being a student have seen what the marketing guys have gone thru..theres no proper placement cel...everythin is unorganied n unprofessional..they should clearly mention in their website and brouchers that they r only a finance institute..
i have been a 70% + student thru out my academic life n still i m jobless as no good marekting cos r coming in..y should one compromise on the salary also..cos r jus paying around 2 lacs in hand rest everythin is insurance n all..
rest is upto you all to decide...i have done a mistake n would not like anyone to do the same.. | | | | | The Following 9 Users Say Thank You to israni40 For This Useful Post: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
