guys its a question to all the ppl 4m maharashtra i want to know if dere is any bias towards mah. ppl in cet coz i've heard dat only 15% ppl are chosen from north india in mahcet(i m 4m lucknow). im really interested in sindamham,sies,n.l dalmiya etc.pls rply@all my intentions are not to fuel a north india vs maha fight i jus want to clear my doubts. thanks in advance

even i feel this is not fair to resrve almost 85% seats for the students for their own state...... i come from delhi and here we dont have any reservation for people coming from a particular state.... what i feel is probably maharashtra people dont like that good students from all over india should come there.... atleast who deserve more than what those reserved category do.......
HRD should take some step against it... if i had some powers i would have either lifted all such reservations for maharashtra colleges or banned admission for maharashtra candidates in any college outside maharashtra.......
really shameful thing to reserve most seats for their state students....

Delhi is different thing(i mean it's UT...and i feel for it's student too) otherwise all other states conduct their own state level exams for engg, medical, MBA etc CET is state level exam buddy(RMAT for Rajasthan, TANCET for tamilnadu, UPMAT for UP etc etc)....."prob" is this that bombay is in maharashtra and it's really very big metro....if u give a glance over colleges in CET...all good and well known colleges are only in bombay... so plz enquire well before post here.. Don't just carp....give ur best....ATB

it's official website of Dept. of Technical Education, Maharashtra....every year they conduct this examination.....last year admission brochure, examination data everything is available there.....all the best.

Oh ya really..... well i am aware Mumbai has many many GOOD institutes for MBA....... and thats the same reason that ATLEAST THE TOP MOST INSTITUTIONS SHOULD NOT DO SUCH A CRAP THING TO RESERVE MOST OF ITS SEATS PREVENTING ADMISSIONS OF GOOD STUDENTS AND INSTEAD GIVING MORE CHANCES TO LESSER DESERVING STATE STUDENTS............
THATS MY VIEW POINT... SORRY IF YOU DONT LIKE IT BUT I HAVE MY FREEDOM TO EXPRESS MY VIEWS OVER SOMETHING WHICH IS VERY WRONG.......
