hi people.
can anyone tell me whether we can get a call from jamnalal bajaj institute of management studies(mumbai) from mat score.
it is not mentioned in the brochure given by aima nor it is given on the official site of the institute.
but im confused coz some of the students on pagalguy.com are saying this.

im getting 98.49% in mat.
is it gud enough to get a cal from jb,if at all it gives.
plz ..........................do reply somebody.

hey r u talking about jamnalal bajaj which is in top 10?
r u sure it takes mat score.
i heard it takes only cet.

i dont think jamnalal bajaj takes from MAT.... it only takes from CET... here is what i took from their official website...
JBIMS
Master of Management Studies (Full Time) All candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria have to undergo a 3-tier selection procedure consisting of a Common Entrance Test (CET), a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).
The CET is a multiple-choice objective test evaluating the aptitude in verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logic, visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation.
This test is then followed by a GD and PI which carry a significant role in the entire selection process.
Please note that the entire admission process for the MMS course has been taken over by The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, 3 Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai - 400 001, from the academic year 1996-1997.

For OMS i.e. outside Maharashtra students.. MAT score is acceptable by JBIMS.
bUt u need to score 99.99% in MAT or any other exam if u r an OMS student.. There are only 9 seats for OMS candidates and last year all those (or maybe most of them) who converted JB call scored 99.99% (OR MAYBE 99.98%)
But if u're applyin as a Maharashtrian Candidate.. then only CET scores shall be accepted.. but the overall %ile cut off maynot be high as that of OMS.. coz the no: of seats in this case is more..(I think if u score 99.7%+ in CET u have bright chances of converting the call)
