If a student is admitted in CAP-1 but gets into SIES minority say in the 2nd or 3rd list, can he get into SIES? [As candidate's name appears in 2 lists]

Congratulations to all ye who made it...I know how u people must b feeling cos i didnt get in...

Can anybody please tell me would there b a second list... and how to go about it... like do i have to go to the college n do something...

Dude...honestly speaking ...The higest person is @ 153 in mino list...n last person is @ a 136 or 135...
That means people in between with 140s have got in colleges (thru CAP - I round) in Thakur,Agnels,MET,Lalas etc....
No offences but preference to SIESCOMS is much higher than other such colleges..
So the probablity of a second list is pretty bleek..however...hope sustains!!!So if someone quits u come to know...I think we gotto wait till 19th which is last day...only then we cud get this info...
n yaa also even if second list comes out...it wud contain jus 2-3 students...ATB buddy!!lets c wht happens...

For minority..we had to submit the printout of the total marks out of 240. The ranks had not been declared by then or did we have to follow any other formalities too after that? Then how come do they differentiate between ppl with same marks. plz guide.n wat r d chances with me at score of 133...btw all u guys r doing a grt job...

I guess after u submit the scores , they go to the main South Indian Education Society (I can say this cuz i was late while filling the form...so the ma'm told me y i cudnt fill it up n all...)
Till now I doubt if they have differentiated with people of same marks..
I think the cutoff is @ 136 ...someon said 135 but I still gotto confirm this..last week when I was guiding u guys here..I heard it was 136...
Also maybe the fact that u had to fill up the form...so..it cud be that the better profiles were selected...
But again so far we havent heard of a case wher a person with similar marks is left out...

now about the second list...
As I said..ti all depends on how many people wish to not take up the insti...
Trust me...chances are very rare simple becoz jus analyze this...
a person with 140 in general category wud get to Fr.Agnels or Thakur...
So y wud he/she leave SIESCOMS for that....right?

But again...incase someone does leave it...u r bound to have a second list...
Last but not the least I have to say this...
The final decision to admit a student is in the hands of the 3rd largest society in Asia...."South Indian Education Society"...of which SIESCOMS is a part of..so be rest assured...

yup there are some names on the list who have scored 135. also why are there no waitiing list put up by siescoms unlike somaiyya which has put up one...yes i do understand how difficult it is for a second list 2 come up..but at d end of 4th cap rnd would the admissions continue 4 the minority...
