i understand wht u r sayin but people vth above 160 will fill sies as their 6th or 7th option .so things remain same but u vth 155 i think u can easily make to somaiya or welingkar

With 155, you can easily get into SIESComs this year, last years cutoff was 159... but you`ll have to put it in the first 5 options, no need to worry about the twists and turns of the CAP process.
As to the funda u mentioned, thats totally an area of surmise, coz its a new system this year, so no one can really sa y for sure

See a normal stat...

This yr 167 scorer -- Mumbai univ guy has got rank 38...
going by stats of prev yrs...against one Mumbai univ,there r 2-3 OMS guys fitting in...
so u cud approx know the ranks this way too..

Now..tht means u can analyse ur rank..
The xact pattern of admitting guys is still unknown..
I mean the percent of seats tht wud be filled in CAP 1...I really dont know it..
But yea hopefully u shud be preffered...if there r very few..

I think man..the fact that there r mere 4 seats...a bitt of wait is needed..

last yr rank 437 is shown as the last entry person with a score of 158...
but it later went down to 156...so say someon in 550s might have got it...

So u got a smart chance of making it bro!!!

pretty possible dude!!cuz until last yr..
the colleges had independant authority over the subsequent rounds!!
so it was awareness mroe than ranks that guided the entry of students!!
unlike this yr..wher its gunna be governed by the DTE!!

Farhan bro, sorry to spoil the mood, but this year there is NO cancellation round. DTE cancelled it.
