Hi lover boy, well i think you can definitely make it to SIES with a score of 140, since last year minority cutoff was 143 (acc to college) it will be cakewalk for you.. Hope to see you among us soon brother

hey dude...138 rank shud be around 1500 rank last yr..
I had 137 n was 1800 so wild guess..
Ya 18 seats for sure..but u got strong chance..as i came to know from office tht the person with highest score is 153
but all depends...how many people have applied...cunt get the track of it..

Hey the rankings have reallly shocked us all..
last yr before cancellation rounds...rank 467 was the last person...
this yr the admission CAP process has changed..so we gotto wait,,
nevertheless I think with this rank naturally u cant make it to top 3-4 colleges..
maybe u cud place this @ ur 5th option..if u get thru...good...right!!

if i fill siescom in my first five options and some xyz wid a better score fills siescom as his 6th option...who wud be alloted d seat....
secondly,d merit list for oms candidates wud be out after filling d option forms....so how can v decide about our options widout knowing our merit no.....

i hv scored 135 ....are ther any chances ....pls help!!!

the ranks have been one helluva a shocker for all of us..
now a coupla things:-
1)
About ur option thing....
man..As far as I know...the people above 160 will not take a risk to put SIESCOMS in the first five options..simply cuz they r ready to take the risk in next round..
can say it cuz i know a lott of OMS junta (on n off pagalguy )

I'm sure u'll have some bit of ur standing in the pagalguy OMS threads..surely like last 2-3 yrs this yr too our OMS buddies might have posted their scores..
chk ur Pm..i have PMed u a few names..prob'ly they cud help u with it..

But all said n done u r right .accurate idea of the RANKS will come only after u c it...

but for OMS its not like tht..u have tonns of people out there...??:

Hey first CAP round...i guess nex to impossible..
but surely with most of the people wud also be forced to settle to the first 5 options...

that is if they r not fixing up their option properly in first CAP round...
So i guess keeping fingers crossed is something u need to do..

I called up yesterday in the office...
number of students isnt known...n i suppose it wud r wudnt be declared..for its own reasons...nevertheless u cud jus call up the number 02227708376 ask Ms.Bindu..
she might be able to give u a rough figure of number of applicants..<use a few please/sorry/i'm worried tags >

the highest person who applied thru mino is @ 153 for sure...
18 seats...so heat is on..

PS:At one pt of time the guy/gal wit h153 might have thot of Weligkar or something...but maybe there r chances tht he/she may/maynot get there n might settle for SIESCOMS...
I think safest bet is to wait a day...
I think 23rd the results wud be out...
Ones between 143-145 might be able to sail thru safely....acc to me..
happens or not is for time to decide...
But yea..The RANKS HAVE BEEN A SUPER SHOCKER...jus goes to show tht u need to be soo competitive...phew...ATB guyys..

Umm its not really possible to know how many people have applied to SIES through Minority quota. What is definite is that there are 18 seats and as per the office the top score of a candidate who have applied thru minority is 153 (Info courtesy of Will Make It)
So I would say it may be touch and go for you...

so this means that if i fill up siescom as my first five, i wud be preffered over students not filling siescom in first five but having A BETTER SCORE....
my score is 155/240 anly 4 seats to fight for in siescom
