Really looking forward to SIES
Procedure -
There is no specific flow as such but the test is in the end....Total four rounds ie GD,PI,Group PI,Test

Edu loan
Very easy to get....The college will give you a letter which will help you get a loan....Many guys out here have taken loans ......dont bother

Wifi - The campus is wifi enabled.....

Sies doesnt have a hostel but finding a place in nerul is not a problem and it is relatively cheap

I got my results some where in march last week....So should be the same this year

Dual specialization is available for Pgdba......We have majors that is ur actual specialization and minors which adds value to ur profile.....eg I am doin Majors in Marketing and Minors in Finance

Hi Ricky,

In Dual MBA, you can do MBA in two streams,
One Majors and one Minors,

For example, Majors in Fianance and Minors in Marketing
here you can have all the subjects of finance, but also you can chose some subjects of marketing.

This gives you double edge.

you can choose any combination for Majors and minor. (subject to institutes rules, like if not many students opt for a minor subject it is slashed, not sure abt SIES, RAHEEL can put some light on that)

Also Raheel me too really interested to know abt GD/PI experinces,

Please also tell some of your friends to take some time and give their inputs,
one input from each of them would give us atleats 100 posts in the thread.
Making people like me more interested in SIES

Thanks

Vic

I had a case study which was related to some employee tiff......So go by the structured way in analysing the case study...ie first the cause and then the solution to the case study.....Aptitude test was easy...Solve one or two cet mocks and ie enough......Dual specialization means....Say you are interested in Marketing.....that means ur majors is Marketing ....Minors means you will get specific subjective knowledge......Say if u r interested in financial services marketing.....Then u r better off doin Majors in Marketing and Minors in Finance...Which certainly does not mean you have a disadvantage if you are interested in IT.......as in you dont get stereotyped.....I hope you got my point.....

Minors will never be slashed even if many people opt out.....Frankly going for minors is a good option.....Gd was a case study....Make sure you dont act Dramatic ..... be urself and make sure you are very confident in putting forth ur point........PI was good ...they asked me questions related to chemical engineering...I cud answer them....Read up on ur newspapers ...they ask a lot abt current events........group Pi was good ..... They will try and know what is ur thinking process in front of a group when they ask you a direct question........

Ya and i'll surely ask a lot of my classmates to come and put forth their views here......And Dude life in an MBA is hectic......So answering questions at 2 am is not really a hassle....thank you for appreciating......
