The process was very well organised....GD was great...had a topic on Should leadership be entrusted on youth or the old....Apti was simple...and so was interview.I feel that the process was goodfor mahority of them then how will they go about shortlisting students.....

Guys with workex will get an advantage.......but at the end of the day its all upto how u perform.....dont worry....i got thru the very first list....i am a fresher engineer myself....i had a bad interview.....but i guess they liked the way i handled the pressure....u never know what they will like abt you.....So guys, chilll...dont brood over what went wrong!!!....
In the AICTE Disclosure on their website they have specified the weightages given to different selection process last year.....I hope they follow the same this year too....They are as follows
Weightages (last year)
1. SSC & HSC (Marks-15)
2. Degree (Marks-10)
3. Work Experience(Marks-10)
4. Aptitude Test (60 Marks)
5. Group Discussion (50 Marks)
6. Personal Interviews (25 Marks)

For this purpose you need someone from SIES to clarify your doubt....Well if there is any management quota than what is the procedure for applying to the same...

Can u shed some light on placements and its relevance for further studies abroad?? Whats d avg & highest package as some ppl tell its arnd 2.5 to 3.5 lacs.

Well in the Admission process it is stated that results will be out anytime after 2 weeks but we need to know the exact date also....Raheel if you can confirm the same ...
