Hi frnds,
The Apt test was easy, the topic for gd in my group was "Indian corporate are puppets in the hands of Indian politicians". First interview consisted of questions like describe urself and ur job exp (since i have 13 months of work ex). Also few questions related to hobbies which i had filled in application form. In second interview i was given topic like "Did India handle the Hijack situation properly" & "Technology used in Banking".
Regards,

Hi All,
Well mee to had the GD/PI sessions over ......
1st to start with the process flow is really smooth,
You get a Group-Coordinator to manage your group and guide you through the whole process.
The studs at SIES are really friendly and Motivating, You can ask them anything and they are really helping,
The whole process takes around 3-4 hrs (depending upon your batch)
1) The Written Exam (45 Min)
This exam is really easy, Qs on Simple Arithmetic, Visual, Analogies and Logics (No Q on DI or RC ???)
2) Personality PI (20 Min)
Here they will give you a topic and you have to speak for 2 mins or so (Extempore)
I hope here they are actually seeing your body language, personality, presentation skills, etc.
BE CONFIDENT and its done !!!!!
3) GD (30 Min)
normal GD, brush your normal GD skills
4) The PI
Again the normal PI,
Tell me something abt yourself, why we should select you, why sies, why MBA, etc
Also here if you have Work Ex then be sure for Qs asked on your field
If Fresher then your stream (also wrk ex ppl can be asked abt their streams)
Some Qs on General and Business Knowledge, (CEO of XYZ Co ??, Ministers, etc)
Then What Specialisation (Marketing, Finance, etc) and then Qs related to that.
Could be stress interview so be ready.
OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Say Bye to your Co-Ordinator and wait for results.
Finally to mention again the process is really really SMOOTH !!!!!
Thanks SIES.

hi..the process needless to say was very organised.apti was ok..decent..then came gd..topic was 'policitians as managers...or something..all spoke decently..fortunately i had the guts to start the gd..n then give in a couple of good egs like Nitish Kumar transforming Bihar into a gr8 place to live in etc.also compared managerials skills n decision making of polictics..basically mapped the two..response of panel was good..n others said i did well..so am happy..PI-1st was pretty decent..one panel was quet n poped in china's peime minister etc..i said i dont know..then was clueless @ end when she asked me who is the indian nobel prize winner who is alive..no clues..took time so i wasnt happy..though they were..next..was second PI..decent again..lets c he was very quick in throwing questions..dont know if i had answered them as good as expected..but in the end..i think it was a good performance..all hopes till next month..all the best guys...be confident..do well.. | | | | | | | |
