Hi,
My CAT score is 87.1%ile & other AICTE apprvd score of ATMA is 98.1%ile..
I submitted the form on 28th March,
I havnt got a call as yet,,
Can any1 tell me by wat date the CALLS will continue to come??
I have also aplied for WELINGKAR & m hoping that the DATES dont CLASH if at all i get a call..
And also that the centre i had applied for GD/PI is INDORE & the website shows the schedule of
indore on 17th APRIL.
Will i get a call in such a short period??

( so wht drove so many gud stdts here? it shws - delivery of promise & commitment by d institution)

m sure it will mak u all feel wht it means to study at ITM , mumbai (its the Peer whom u learn more than ne one else)....

Abt ur decision to come here or not? its certainly among gud collges at mumbai...
ur decision shd b based on options u hv
join only PGDBM course- othr courses are purely BULLSHIT...!

It has gud placmnts in Marketing- (whr in many select whch co. to sit for- stdts rarely sat for life insurance co.'s - so co.'s had to go away empty handed or may b wit less studnts)
v hd almost all BANKS, AMC'S, in retail- pantaloons, hypercity, VIP'S @homes stores, JIndal steel, mahindra& mahindra, tcs, timesgroup etc....

Finance studts do hv offers bt its not so easy to gt corporate finance here....so thy r bit reluctant to sit 4 company interviews whch dont offr thm desired profile- it's MORE A mattr of CHOICE ! ( i didnt say - company visiting r less).....

HR Placmt is really an issue .....whch is truly pathetic....

in short, placment is not an issue ovr here.....college hs 100% Placmts......in r batch 2 stdts opted out of company placmts(OOPS), we had few PPO's...

negativ sides-

As v all knw rite now economy is at boom- wit so many offrs 4 talented ppl

due to it - few talentd faculties left collg who hd offrs as high as 20 lkh p.a. few to join co.'s and othrs in b-schools like NMIMS, IMT-Ghaziabad- (It may also shw gud quality of faculty ovr here)...

ne wys- it a fact tht all B-SCHOOLS includin IIM's hv dearth of faculties
m sure collge will sort out this issue and rope in gud faculties in shrt time - so just chill...!

now one query that if a person with engineering background,2 years of work ex and keen to take major as operations ..... what are scope for him and is it worth spending 5 lacks of money there....

a) retail mgmt
b) international biz
c) financial mgmt

well, since no of students opting for operations & IT were less therefore specialisation in this stream was not offered.....& i think it was desirable too as v dont hv gud faculty to deal wit this specialisation...Net effect= rarly IT & Mfg co.'s visit r campus....

abt 5 lacks...mostly all collges charge similarly noadaysss...some hv many hidden cost..
u wont believe but welingkar collge aftr u complete 2 yrs of mba thy still dont provide u degree upto 6 months ...keepin ur results on hold makin u committed to company too for 6 months if u leave befor tht term thy may evn declare u fail in mba...this is disgusting...on one side bt gud on othr as it builds thrust on d part of co. as thy r assured tht their cost of recruitment is worth....therefor thy got betttr packages than us...!


abt work ex....@ ITM .....co.'s consider only relevant work ex....most of the time ther is such a disparity betwn work ex and kind of co. u r sittin for interview tht it becomes meaningless for co also to consider it.....in short - it doesnt mattr at least here with respect to profiles.....i remembr only one guy got higher packge on account of his work ex at indiainfoline.....may b ur chances of selection in particular co. may increase !

i scored 95%ile in cat 07 with approx. 90%ile in all 3 sections but my acads and extra curr. are mediocre at best and i have no work exp., what are my chances of converting a call from ITM navimumbai.Plz reply ASAP
