i would like to know about k j somaiya's retail management course? hws is it? n what is the ROI?
Also if smbdy has just filled in the formm..i'm haveing some trouble wid it..need help..

my cet score is 114/200 but if i convert my cat score in cet, it becomes 132.
PAR - 4/6
that means 136/206.
did well in interview. gd was average. expecting 27-29.
i am from nagpur, ie a maharashtra state student. and i'm in open category.
do i stand chance for k.j. somaiya?

i got some more doubts - do i need to do anything else apart from mentioning CAT as my all india exam in the cet form, and get it verified at ARC? will this make sure that my cat-converted score will be considered?

and, if my converted score is being considered, will that make me an OMS student?

this is dia here.. (mumbai university candidate)
i have scored 117/200 in cet 2008 (95.53%) with par=4/6.
this makes my current score 121.
i hv appeared for my gdpi & am expecting 24/34...which makes my score around 145....
i am a gujju & hence i hv applied for kjsomaiya-gujju quota...
somebody plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz let me know:
1. wat was the gujju quota cut-off last year at kjsomaiya in the last round???... its website states that the cutoff was ard 156 but i guess it was the cut-off for the first round...
2. wat are my chances of getting admission thru guju quota this year??
plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz for god sake help me...i hv posted earlier but no replies...

the cutoff for this yr cud be approx 166-170 for open category and 158-160 gujju quota..... so i dont think ur score is sufficient enuff

I have Got 129 in CET Score...And i have a work ex of around 2.5 in IT.....
I am gujju....Please answer my Following queries?
1)What are the chances if me getting in KJ Somaiya through Gujju Quota?..I had good GD/PI round.
2)I am confused whether after the work ex of 2.5 yr ....is the college worth it....in terms of placements and college atmosphere..?
3)I am looking forward to specialization in Marketing....Do they have good faculty?
4)Do we also have good profiles in Marketing for Lateral Placements?

1) what are number of seats in hostel for oms candidates and where is somaiya's hostel situated. is it in campus or off. and also what is the annual fee of hostel and facilities available in hostel and number of students sharing 1 room in hostel.

2)what is the current session's 2008-09 fee for mms course.

i would like to know about hostel facility provided at somaiya. how many seats are reserved for mms students? how many people used to share a room? i would also like to know abt hostel admissions. whats the procedure for it?

for the number of oms seats in simsr hostel... ther is no limit.... every1 will get an accomodation..... its a new hostel.. just behind the college... not even a stones throw...

fees this year are 50k for 10 months.... there will be 3 ppl sharing 1 room(as was the case last year).... facilties provided at the hostel are lan connection(3 per room)... a washing machine per floor... a mess to dine... and 3 beds with 3 cupboards in a room....

the fees for us(07-09) batch was 94k.... so urs will be in similar range(approx 1 lac) without laptop...
