But I am also astonished by this. If you will see the CET brochure of this year. They have mentioned it in some back side pages that somaiya will be considering CET score for admission to some PG course.
But at the same time Somaiya site does not speak anything about it. I have mailed to contact persons at somaiya. But didn't get any reply yet.

Hi all

I am a fresher with B.E. degree
My acads are average and my extra curriculars are mediocre at best
I scored 94.87%ile in CAT this time with a sectional score of approx. 90%ile in all 3 sections.
Wat r my chances of making it through to the PGDM-IB corse.
will my avg acads n poor extra curr. create too much of a problem.

Also could u tell me how the International business course ranks against the PGDM course placementwise.

Avg, min and max salary expected for the PGDM-IB course would also be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Well you need to justify at the time of interview why your acads are poor. If you produce strong reason than there will be no problem.
Regarding extra currics you can tell them that you have managed a big event of your college. But gather some information regarding it.

I cannot comment on placements as I am not an alumni. May be someone else can comment on this.

and more importantly when will the gd/pi be conducted????
how much weightage is given to cat scores and work-ex???

although i m not from simsr.. but as per the info. on site n from other puys, result will b out after 10 feb. but before 15 feb..'
