Hi Sahil,
Placements have never been a problem at SIMSR.
Until last year we didnt had a seperate placement week for laterals but people with work ex were placed higher than the freshers depending upon the background and the filed of specialisation and their performance.
From this year we at SIMSR are going to have a seperate placement week for laterals ie for people having work ex of more than 22 months.And the min sal slab will be 6 lacs.They will be placed in the month of DEC in the 2nd year. U can check it out on the SIMSR website too.

So dont worry abt laterals.

no othr scores buddy. only cat for pgdba and pgdit and cet for mms.(cat jmet atma xat all scores can be converted to equivalent cet for oms candidates)

As for the faculty, we have one of the best faculties across all the strams many of whom are frm iims. Hr placemnets were quite impressive last year. will find out the exact details of salaries and let u know.

MMS SIMSR Batch 2006 - 2008

Hi there,
I am a Pune university Student. completed my grad in 2005. have written the CET once where my overall score was 148. I applied through the Gujju quota. But still couldn't get through the quota also. This year i will be writtin it again.
I had a query regarding the quota system. Do they prefer Bombay university students while allotin the quota seats over pune university ones?
Also would you suggest a few good referance books for CET?
Will be really grateful to you if you could shed some light on this.
