mansee u can go and check on the SIMSR website..they wud have put up a waiting list. u shud get u r rank there in the waiting list...

see nuthing can be said on the scores, because this yr the scores were low...i wud say if u have above 97% overall after gd and pi , then u stand a chance of getting in to SIMSR MMS.

mansee, i just checked out the website...and u r rite..there is no wait list on the site. Well a few days earlier i had seen the wait list. Now the college is asking the students who are interested, to pay the fees. So after this process is done, if there are any more seats reamining, they may put up another list or call up on personal basis the next best candidate.

I have a cet score 0f 104 (+2+2+1) = 109 as of now. Hoping to score somewhere around 28 in gdpi's (went really well). So considering tht i get a score of around 136 -137 do i stand a chance in KJ gujju quota. I have ~ 1.5 yrs of workex in SAP.

Any idea about the total number of seats for mms ? number of seats reserved for gujju quota ?

Hi Abhishek..

ur expected post written score of 34-35 is very impressive... but the basis tht can be compared to the previous year score is of the written test %tile...

Last year guju quota closing was on 154 .. & this is no way to compare vth ur score of 136-137

so based on last year's trend... if ur written test %tile is around 98... & then ur expected 34-35 marks addition.... then u stand a very good chance..

No. of seats in MMS are 120...
Seats through Guju quota are about 36

but be patient in getting the relpy... this may take a couple of dayz.. as v r on summers.. but still.. all ur doubts would be cleared...

dude i have one more suggestion for you. Dont rely only on the gujju quota. Also keep on looking for the open quota seats update. Many of my frds who are gujarati's got thru open quota last yr...the gujju quota seats get filled and many lose hope. But I advice that u keep on checking out the status on a regular basis for the update on the seats thru open too.

Thanks for your reply. One more urgent query.

While i was filling up the online gujju quota form, i noticed the following on the website:

Note : Please Print the Online Application form after submission and send it along with the Demand draft and CET 2007 score card to the Institute.

Last date for submission of Online Application Form is 30th May 2007

I have filled up the online application forms along with the DD details.

But do i need to send the printout of the same along with the DD & printout of my scorecard - downloaded from the cet website(without the gdpi marks) right now itself.

OR should i wait till the final cet results are out and i have my final score and then send the score card xerox ?
