My only apprehension was if the stated details such as 90 hrs / week was indeed being followed because if that is the case (which i now know is) then xaviers would be a better bet than chetanas, met , dalmiya (execpt finance) and possibly on par or even above sies.
Guess all we need is decent placements in december and i believe this institution has what it takes.
oh ho prashant...u shouldnt compare 1st and 2nd year...and we dint had lectures coz rite now admissions are on and obviously he is busy with people like you..and if doesnt do so u guys will complain....and marketing people have got the best faculty around in our college to take care of them..Well we do have 9-9 sessions and only XIMR students can understand tht dude..No clarifications over it..Well we being the first year students peacefully completed our summers and have no 2nd thoughts for executives

thanks for the info. prashant i went to xaviers today met the director he told me the same thing and yes they expect you to pay 1.6 lacs in a day there is no leeway for that, it crazy some ppl can arrange funds and some cant this system really sucks. he was more inclinded on tellin me why i should not join in he gave me the fees break which was not at all justifiable he said 38000 for interim fee 32000 for univ. exams, papers and tution fees and 90,000 is balancing figure, when i asked him to put some light on the balancing figure he do not give a clear answer. i am definatley not joining xaviers for sure i will sit for the 2nd CAP round.
i am really disappionted with the process of DTE they expect everyone to pay up the whole fees upfront within 3 days its crazy yaar some ppl can afford it and some cant. This really sucks!!

hi guys...i had gone y'day to coll...its decent overall....spoke to the dir...and a student ....wt i felt and understood is...calss of 60..cool...only mms....no discrimnation possible like in somaya welingakr....good hard work of 9-9....centrally located..so visting faculty would be good.....hr/marketing is good..worth taking the coll....minus points wt i felt was...finace ppl...just dun't take it..coz..the core faculty for 1st yr is very imp...and if ur fundas r not very well explanined by the facutly it will affect ur profile...and as the 1st yr students will pass out..the coll will gain name for its maketing/...not for fiannce..so that will effect us later....there in't wi-fi..which ifeel is imp for a b school..though there is a good comp lab...but one wil have inconvinence....plus the fees is simply to high for the grade of the coll...which there r taking in the name of 3 extrs subjects they would be teaching....
these r my views...so plz dun't take it perosonal.....bottom line for me is ppl lookin for finance should drop the idea and maekting ppl should take it....
and when i had gone there were looking for a fiance faculty...few resumes were there....of ppl..passed out from xlri with work ex of 3-4 yrs...

I thought Wi-Fi was there in campus. We could see the hotspots at some places. Also i remember seeing one inside their office.

I never knew wi-fi have become more important in taking decision whether to join coll or no...well we hv 60 computers in comp lab and 4 in library and there is wi-fi in library n corridor....rest in class room we dont need lappy's..
Enjoy!!
