Hi,
@Guess me
You'll have to call the college for the same, because these are university procedures and the mode of payment is different from that of the minority/management seats.
The DTE wants the fees in some format and you might have to pay it in separate DD's also, the details of which you'd know better if you visit the college and note down.
Ask the lady at the counter for the list of documents to be submitted.
Also if you don't have all documents then request them for some more time.
As far as i remember it was
8 copies of your graduation certificate (mebbe mark sheet also)
8 copies of your x th & xii th mark sheet.
8 copies of your CET scorecard,
Birth certificate ,transfer certificate,Leaving certificate, etc were also asked for ...don't quite know how many copies.
I'd suggest carry all the documents you have along.
You'll have to run around quite a number of times...even for foolish work.
You may even have to notarize an undertaking ... the format for which will be given by the college.
@Shabby
Well yes last year was our 1st batch.
Not all students were placed by the college.
Many placed themselves.
The highest was 6.5, lowest was 3.0 and median was around 3.5.
Again these figures vary from each specialization as the market opportunities were different for each...finance being badly hit.
We had posted more elaborate details a few posts back.(Around 40-45 i think).
Last year we started late and were very unstructured.
This year we have a formal process in place and the concerned team is working towards better placements and things should improve.

@ Deval
Well weakness first..
1. Being part of the Xavier brand :- People perceive XIMR on the same lines as Xavier as we're on the same campus, but life @ XIMR is anything but that.
2. Our finance is supposedly our weakest link. But we are aware of that and better awareness leads to better choices and changes. We have patched it up this year and it seems it will only get better.
3. Space constraints as we cannot touch or do too many alterations to a world heritage site !!
Strengths:
1. Being part of Xavier lends us the extra flexibility to leverage professors from Xavier college. Where else do you think we arrange faculty for Spanish, sociology and philosophy..... something other colleges don't have.
2. Our tie ups with Jesuit institutions across the country. LIBA,XLRI,XIMB,GIM etc... and others around the world, ESADA,Bath univ, Darsden.. etc.
3. Xavier is not 2 years old.... We're more than 35 years old... just that we're affiliated with dte now... Advantage: Our vast expanse of alumni, 2nd only to JB in mumbai... You'll know why it's a strength once you join.
4. Our Director is a specialist in International Marketing himself.
5. We do rural marketing by actually going to the rural areas... don't see too many doing that.
Well can't think of too many... But you could ask..
Bye.
