Hi guys,
If we try to compare Xaviers & other collgs in mumbai (say top 5 or 6 collgs), can any one help me out (all those seniors who are into Xaviers) what r the points that Xaviers might have upperhand compared to other collgs or the points on which Xaviers loose to other collgs (leaving aside the fact that Xaviers is just 2 yr old.. & placements r coming up...)
This prespective will really help new students (prospects) to make their decision...
I have recieved lot of +ve feedback for its faculty & discpline...
but if anybody can help to list some of collge strong & weak ponts then it wuld help all of us...

Hi Deval,
Well i'll post the details you are looking for tomorrow.
All i'd advice you is to start reading a bit on Accounts as you are from the IT sector and may find it a bit difficult once the course commences.
In fact i'd advice all non-commerce students to start reading with the Std XIIth Accounting - Chopde Chaudhry is a good book to start with .. costs just around Rs. 50/-
We had a difficult time with accounts last year as it takes a lot of effort for engineers to understand the weird concepts.
So before college commences it will be a good idea to read up a bit and be ahead of the pack.
Of course we have prof Vora (a CA) teaching us but yet it's not possible for him to devote lot of time on simple topics.
Bye for now...
I'll add details tomorrow.... | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Mangola For This Useful Post:
