Referring to your post, does ii mean that in all 200 students have applied till date for quotas - these 200 include minority & management together, right?
Also, you have mentioned only CET scores - Do these 200 applications also include students applying through their CAT / XATscores?

My set of independant queries (yes, yet another list):

1) When I had been to the campus, I believe a Sr. mentioned to the office staff about only 6 student clearing their spanish paper n yet sounded nonchalant - Now, these extra courses and compulsary extra electives that are being offered - do they have a K.T. system for them
as well or since they are value-addition courses, they are not in alignment with rest of the subjects and donot figure in individual's overall scores?

2) Do you guys have any dress code?

Thanks for reading my rather long post....

Regards,
Punam
Hi Punam,

Firstly, I am certain that you misheard someone. It is next to impossible that only 6 students have cleared the exam !

The scores for the elective subjects appear in a separate score card. These scores do not reflect in the percentage of the core subjects. And about the KT system, I am too sure about that myself. I will try and find out from my friends/ college and get back to you on that..
We did not have a compulsory formal-wear dress code. But on most days we end up wearing formals because we have some presentation or the other. However, we do follow a strict dress code in the sense that we cannot wear T-shirts, skirts, sleeveless dresses.

Hope I have answered some of your queries.

Regards

Dear Punam,

Yes as per the info given by the College staff, a total of 200 forms were issued. This includes the Minority & Management forms. This info is nearly a week old. I tried asking the authorities about the current count but they refused to provide any further details.
However, another 3 forms were issued while I stood there in the office. All the forms were issued to students above the mentioned cut-offs.

The 200 forms that have been mentioned earlier do include the onces submitted through the CAT & XAT score.

I hope I have answered your " My set of independant queries "

Regards,
RButhello

Hi,

You need to submit the photo copies of the following documents:

1) Xth Std Marksheet
2) XII th Std. Marksheet
3) Degree Marksheet
4) Degree Certificate (if you are done with your convocation)
5) Proof of Nationality
6) Migration Certificate (if applicable)
7) Work Experience Letter(s) (if applicable)
Score Cards (All the scores you wish to apply through)

In any case, you could confirm this with Priscilla Mam by calling on their no.

All the best!

See if u r an open category mumbai university candidate ur chances seem bleak. I will explain why.
If u see the cutoffs of last yr u will notice that in CAP round 3 the state ranks of candidates who got thr in xaviers was between 1100 and 1200. But last year there were 48 seats thr CAP round. This yr we just have 18 seats thr CAP round becoz Xaviers now has minority quota. So for these 18 seats we need a rank below 600 to 700(this is as per last yrs ranks for CAP round 1 and 2).
my score is 156 and my state rank is 1050. Even i dont think Xaviers is n reach now.
But management forms r available. the cutoff for same is 145 in CET. And fees for management quota is same as that of open category. No donations.
Whats ur category and rank btw.

Hi xyzabc,

The cut-off for last yr. was 140, however things have changed quite a lot considering that Xavier's in now a minority college. So, the cutoffs are going to shoot-up drastically this time around...

The mgmt. forms will be issued till 30th June and yes, these forms are for mgmt. seats. One can apply through their CET, CAT or XAT score and then GD/PI is conducted by the institute to come up with the merit list. There are 12 mgmt. seats.

There is not donation for these seats. Regardless of you coming thorugh DTE rounds/ Mgmt. Seats, you will be charged the same fee.

Hope I have answered your queries...

Regards,
Punam

I have absolutely no idea. i just know that the director personally meets the candidates with score >145 before issuing the form. But i dont really think he's gonna grill a candidate. Just some casual small interview kind of a thing i suppose. Neway I am going today. Will be there at around 3:30 or 4. If u want u can meet there. I will be leaving in sometime.
