can any senior post details on summer placements this yr ?? like avg pay for summers .......no of students placeced.......procedure for d same etc.........exe placement details r available....it'll b good if some1 can post dis details 4 summers......

Well the list of companies that recruited for summers was posted a few pages back.
The average stipend is not yet known as summers are still going on and will be computed once students get together in 2-3 weeks time.
But there are students getting in the range of 3k to 9k as per my knowledge.

Well with Xavier becoming a minority institute seats for through dte is very limited and hence you are around the border. Really cannot pass any judgement on the cut-offs as it always throws up surprises each time.

Well looking at the options as well there isn't anything much you can do now except for filling the forms and waiting for the process to start...

Otherwise you could go to XIMR and apply through the management quota.. XIMR is currently giving out forms to students above the score of 145. So you could try for it.... beside the fees for mgmt quota is the same as that the students through dte pay. No donations what-so-ever.

I don't think so.
But why risk better carry it along.
Why not call the college before going .. that way you'll be updated with the most recent happenings.

Hey, No documents are needed while getting the form from them... You will have to meet at the XIMR office where you may have to meet the director (more likely than not) who would ask you a few questions regarding your score, experience, etc... after that if he deems fit, he will ask you to buy the form... So no docs at all... 1 piece of advise, wear formals just in case, btw, how many yrs of experience do you have? and what is your score in the CET/CAT? Regards, Rohan

Well the latest i've read is that the cut-offs for the mgmt forms is 145. The are not issuing the forms to anyone below that mark..

Not been to college in a long time now so don't really know the latest.

my CET score is 140 (yes from mumbai university); my CAT Percentile is 77%ile (this is the score i applied for XIMR); also, i have 2 yrs of corporate experience at Cognizant Technology Solutions; and about 6 months of teaching MCA grads some IT subjects. Thats my story, got the form for Xaviers and have submitted it off...waiting to see if and when they call me for the GD/PI...
