Well that's an option that's not in our hands !!!
When the great university of mumbai decides to complete the admissions, only then will the classes commence !!
Mostly it is around August 1st week.

One thing that i'd like to say to everyone is to keep you docs ready.
Colleges need a lot of copies of your report cards(upto 8 copies) and other docs (domicile/migration if you are an oms student).
You can check that up on the website of any college (docs reqd for admission)

It's a big hassle during admission time as you need to attest them and also arrange for DD's etc..
So you can keep your docs ready now itself because all college need more or less the same docs.

No re no issues at all ...that's what i'm here for .... answer every query you have..
No we definitely don't work 24*7 in college or at work.

If you were asking about summers (work) then it depends on the company you are placed with and their policies, sometimes you get sat off as well.

At college we had holiday on sunday in the first semester (considering that we make up during the week days 9-9)
But in the second semester we had lectures on sunday for a couple of subjects but that was only till 12.00 or 1 pm

But if you ask me it's been one month into summers and our class's reaction is like ...everyone is waiting for july 7th ... for college to reopen !!!

Ya you can say that !!!!

All i remember is being on the phone or online analyzing the case studies with my group members most of the time ...(we're split into groups of 5 for case studies)

But it's not as hard, you do get enough time for yourself too.

I called the Office a few days back. Some lady picked up..
She said that the they r still not sure whether to keep the quota or not
Then she told me to call when the results come out (thats on 10th June)...Add Hung up

It's not like that Allwyn

Xavier is a minority college so ideally there has to be seats for minority (in this case christians)
But last year a decision was taken by the trust to return the seats back to dte as they weren't able to regulate the flow of good students.
So only 12 seats were kept for management quota and the rest was given back..
This year again we have the option of exercising that but i really have no clue as to what has come of the meeting that was supposed to be held.

We're currently busy with summers..
But i'm going to college tomorrow and i'll find out the latest on that..
So check this forum tomorrow mebbe i'll be able to update something..

Good night

@ Allwyn

With your score of 118 i think you stand a fairly good chance of procuring admission via cet - cap rounds itself..
So why worry ?
Besides you could also fill the management forms which will be on sale shortly (after 15th june)
So you do have options..

*********Latest from College**********
-------------------------------------------

Hello everyone,

Had been to college today.
Had a talk with our director.

-Well XIMR is waiting for a court case hearing that will happen on the 9th before issuing the management quota forms.
-The forms will mostly be issued after 15th or more likely towards the end of this month.
-The admission procedure will start by the last week or first week of july.
-College will commence(tentative) in the first week of august.

The case hearing has got to do with something about the mumbai university's minority quota.

OMS (Sidd this goes for you) can easily fill the forms online and need not come to college at all.... So no hassles there.

The director has told that in the meanwhile any student can feel free to visit the college and meet him in person anytime between 9am to 5 pm.

Man even i was surprised by the renovation work going on..
Lot of work going on in our classrooms...

Anyways... running off for work now.

Catch you all in the evening..

Bye.
