INDIRA carries bigger brand name among all of them ... but pbm with indira is it's located away from city ... abt 18km from center of city .... this is one area where MITSOB scores as it's located in city itself ....

No idea new Singhad Campus but Vadgav campus is best among all of them ...

Abt sinhgad I have heard that its placement is centralized at one place so it doesnt matter which campus u r in, is it true?? Is there 100% placement?? Whats the avg pkg??

Also what abt the placement in MITSOB??

IBA ... don't know much about this school ... so can't tel u

N.L.Dalmia is famous for finance ... so if u inclined towards it, you should opt for it ...

In general I can say it's better to try for college from Mumbai as it's closer to Commericial Capital of India & so better exposure ...

I would have always opted for descent college in mumbai over branded but unknown from Delhi

sorry dude, I won't be able to help you much regarding this as I don't know much here ...


but one thing I like to mention here, IMO it's always better to opt for school which is located in city as it plays a big role in over development

let me this in detail, assume u have taken admins to college like INDIRA which is abt 16-20km from city & now u want to learn a foreign lang or join some other course ... what option do u have? none ... bcoz u can't come to city everyday just to attend classes ... as it'll take too much of you time ...

Schools like MITSOB, MITSOM score big here as they are in city and thus you can take as many classes, attend all PG meets or attend various industrial exhibition / seminar

just let me knw ....as i m fully aware of the status of colleges in and around maharashtra as i myself did an yr long survey on this???

Talking abt sinhgad's placements i knw it is not 100% and even if they say that they have centralised placement but still it does not happen all the time...
there is a lot of discrimination done between the students of different campuses at the time of placements...

If you talk abt vadgaon campus[this is the campus with beautiful location and average placements]
If you talk abt ambegaon campus[this is the campus where you have an awesome Director, average study environment but again poor placements]
and other campuses are *******[i dont want to quote exactly wht i mean]

and average is some where aroung 1.5-2 lakhs.

talking abt MITSOB... again its a college which shoud be your one of the last choices.
[reasons unsaid but should be understood]

if you have really good score in CET then you must have the following preferences

1. JBIMS
2. PUMBA/Sydnem
3. K.J.Somaiya
4. Welingkar
5. Xavier's

Thats it...
rest all is not to be thought about....
if you are really thinking of going high in your career very soon then either get in any of these 6 colleges or try again
[an honest opinion to all those who are serious abt their career]

actually Wadia's Engg is more famous for good college life ... it has reputation of most happening college in Pune
