Hi franki ,
I hv one query, suppose i am unable to make in to IIMM , instead i get a seat in its sister concerne like ICIB, ICTM. Will it be a better option to join any of them or ISB&M. Are its sister institutes equally good in term of placements?
Do reply.
@Pranav
Well pranav i read ur earlier posts , i think u r SCMLD student , n u still gave CAT this year, thts gr8 so wat r ur plans , i f u get through will u leave SCMLD?
Well i missed the SCMLD entrance test , so i cant get in there now?
So i hv options of IIMM , ISBM , SICSR n SITM

Also,these courses are too specialized unlike a general mba u cannot switch streams.
And no 1 becomes a QA manager or a project manager overnight,you dont need to do a pgdbm in IT to become a manager in a IT company,its ur experience that counts,so even if you dont have a degree from SICSR and r a BE or MCS you would eventually become a tech lead or a proj manager,ofcourse,it all depends on ur calibre.
Trust me when I say that coz I work for a software company and none of the proj manager or QA managers here have a PG in IT. | Now this has got me all tensed up. Thanks for replying franki. Well, I have given a CET, so keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for the decent enuf result so that I can atleast break into PUMBA.
But to be honest, I really dont intend to change streams (I am B.E (Computers), Mumbai)...I thought that being in SICSR, I could atleast grab a position of System Analyst within 1 yr of my posting (Ofcourse, if I perform well)....
After my previuos post..I have extensivley asked my Pune friends and researched lot of SICSR on the NET. And its not such a bad place to be in. But ofcourse, if I can get thru PUMBA or any decent colleges in Mumbai...which gives generalised degree..I will opt out of SICSR.
But I am happy abt what I have heard of SICSR untill now. So, wont really jump the gun soon.
Thanks franky again

But 4 the management prog. they claim the avg. is 4.5 lakhs n highest was 8.5 lakhs. As i hv ben given the last date as 22 march4 the submission of 1st instalment. I will check it then only pay it.
Well on this thread i think franki is the person whoknow more aboutthe pune coleges. Ithink he mustbe busy, so his replies r not coming. He is the better person tocomment over the pune colleges. Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
