Been a puneite for 12 yrs mate, but I swear to god,I've never heard that name b4.
Pune has a college called NIBM(National Institue of Banking Management) and as the name suggests it specializes in banking management.Its a sarkari college n its supposed to be very good.

Yes my friend!! most puneites would have "clues" about bharti vidyapeeth.
If by clue you meant hows the college then my advise would be to look elsewhere.bharti is excellent for BE,B pharma but not so good for MBA.
Half the junta doesnt get placed.
The ones that do,end up with desk jobs.

do you know anybody from nibm(pune),i wanted to know about the course and its placements ?my cat percentile is 94.33. is it worth doing pg diploma from thr??please guide.....

No I dont know anyone from NIBM.
They gives calls on CAT scores.
however their last date for applying is over.
Since it is an RBI approved,pune university affiliated college(whatever that means) their placements are bound to be good.
I just happened to visit their website site and found out that their highest offer last yr was made by some saudi bank,the total package was
US US $ 48000 per annum + medical + free ticket + Bonus, etc.

thats even comparable to the IIM's plus they offer a 1 yr programme.

The NIBM has been around since 1969,thats almost as long as IIM-A!!!

If ur so interested in banking,I would advise you to wait for another yr instead of getting into any college since your CAT score is pretty good,you could always try next yr.

Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade..
Offered by the Economics Department, Pune University..
One year.. takes it one own entrance...
