Last yr the notification came out on june 21st after a meetin with the higher education committee on 10th june!! so i guess there's time!! but the moment the decision is made i would be among the 1st to know!! so relax all is not lost yet!!
as for the pattern 1st section was english which had grammar and even figure of speech along with the usual comprehension!! this section was of 50 marks!!! it was very easy and you could actually gain time in this section!!
2nd section was maths which was the normal CET level alegbra and geometry !! it consisted of AP, GP percentage partnership speed time distance work pipes cisterns races clocks type of questions!! this was also of 50 marks and was a bit lengthy!!
3rd section was logical reasonin!! the usual correlation family tree and stuff!! this was also pretty easy!!! again of 50 marks!!
4th section was of GK !! it constituted of the GK as well as the current affairs and latest business questions bout CEOs and stuff!! E.G ceo of hdfc bank?(this was a quest in CWT 2005)!! this also took less time as you either knew it or didnt!!
overall the paper was not at all lengthy as i remember finishin my paper 10 mins before time unlike the CET !!

however the only hitch is tht there are only 60 seats out of which a handful 27 seats for open !! so try ur luck!!

@boywonder, reading ur post on the top of this page. U said that for the CWT(sydenham Insitute's own test) - the notification came out on 21st June. Did i comprehend it right. so if the notification was out then , then when was CWT conducted and when was the final list out.

@boywonder... when does the academic yr for the autonomous course start? last yr if the notification came out on june 21st..when was the test held?.. also can u throw some light on the placements of the mms program and the autonomous program at syd.. which one do u think is better?.. i've heard the mms program is considered second only to bajaj's..

the test was held on 15th july and the whole admission procedure was done in a jiffy as i remember the date of payin fees was 25th 26 and 27th july!! i remember it so clearly as it included the fateful day of 26/7 and many of my class mates were stuck in coll durin the same!!
so the entire process of test,shortlist,group discussion and then the final list was done in 10 days!! as for the academic yr both the mms and pg started in august 1st week!!
i have done a comparison of both the prog and placements in previous posts in this same thread!! and its true among colleges covered by CET it is second only to bajaj!

whts ur cet score? if u qualify for MMS in sydenham i would recommend go for it but if u r gettin somethin like welinkar MMS go for SYDENHAM pgdbm as i would put it above welinkar MMS !!

MMS is a degree while PG is a diploma !! MMS is a mumbai univ course while PG is a GOVT OF MAHARASHTRA course!!
if u plan to do PHD in future u cannot take up PG !!

What i mean by advantages or disadvantages is tht your marks are in the hands of the coll profs for the entire 2 yrs!! there have been cases wherein ppl have scored 90+ marks while in other cases abt 40 students have got kt in a subject!!
so it could be an advatage or disadvantage when everythin is in the hands of the coll!!

even i had 98.5%ile in CET and the best i was gettin was chetna tht too in the cancellation rounds!! though i admit i had a terrible GD at jb which led to me gettin a 26/40 in the score other than written which was at least 4 marks below average !! so if u have an excellent GD/PI I dont see any reason why u wont get into sydenham PG bcoz i feel it we take the cet score SYD PG should go around kj mms and welinkar mms!!
though we havent taken the factor tht there r abt 8000 more students than last yr!! takin 1.5%ile of tht i see an increase in your rank by abt 80(1.5% is 120 but there r ppl of caste other univ etc)
so it will be touch and go !!
hope u have got PAR 4 and WE 2 as when it comes down to the wire every mark counts and at the percentile u r havin there r around 70 students for every mark!!
