Well, we at MyLakshya don’t think so. Every individual has set a certain target for himself, unconsciously most of the times. Let that unconscious convert to conscious. Explore your unconscious, find out what you want from life, what you want to become, what is your “LAKSHYA” in life.



The MyLakshya contest is a challenge in that regard. You have to not only explore yourself, but also put your “LAKSHYA” in life in just 50 words. Though it’s a difficult task, the fact remains; the fact that a person who is clear about himself/herself is a person who will go far in life. So come on, explore yourself. Find out who you are. It is my pleasure to inform you that in keeping with the tradition, the students of PGDIE, NITIE are organizing the sixth edition of Lakshyafrom 14th to16th October 2005. Lakshya comprises of Lakshya on-the-job Achievers’ contest and Lakshya -Empresario which aims at honing the Entrepreneurial skills of students.

14th – 15th October ’05 – Lakshya – on the job achiever contest (Supported by CII) is a unique platform where practicing managers present their live projects. The project could be in any one of the following four modules:

1 . Supply Chain Management 2.Operations Management
3 .Systems and IT Management 4.General and HR Management

The Lakshya Business Visionary Awardees 2005 include

• Mr. Ratan Tata, Chairman, TATA Group

·Mr. Subir Raha, CMD, ONGC Ltd.
·Mr. K. V. Kamath, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank


16th October ’05 – Lakshya Empresario (Suppoted by TiE and NirmaLabs)
·B-plan Contest: Platform to hone and test the entrepreneurial skills.
·Spardha: The Battle of Nerves - an Entrepreneurship Game
·D'apprendre: Workshop and Discussion Forum focusing intricacies of Entrepreneurship.

• Inspiring Entrepreneur for the Year 2005:
