hi guys i am back after a 2 week hiatus altough not self imposed but due 2 severe time constarnts.

let me 1st start by tellin u abt my first 2 weeks of jbims.
its been a lot of struggle with fun as v hav long lecture hours.
v typically start our day newhere frm 7 am to 9 pm and end it anywhere frm 6pm to 9 pm dependin on the lectures.
v hav had quite a few profs most of them the jb alums and seniors takin our lectures and informing us abt the coll its functioning, rules and regu. and abt our committees as jb.
v hav already finished our 1st presentations this week on various sector analysis done by each group.
the best part abt jb is tht it is 1 b school which is fully rum by the students. v hav a say in watever happens in jb and faculty out here is simply superb.
v even enjoy a gr8 support of our alums and the various committees work day and night so tht jb reatins its reputation.
i feel very proud 2 b a jbite and very proud of my coll and its strong alum base.

bas aaj ke liye itna hi its already 12.15 and i hav a lec at 8 am tom and i will hav 2 get up at 5.30 as i stay at borivali which is a good 30 kms frm jb.

hi guys 2 day v finished 3 weeks at jb and i am slowly getting used 2 the errant timings the coll has 2 offer.
v dont hav a time table and the lectures 4 a particular day r put up on the previous day only so boss its very difficult 2 plan u r day frm advance.

the course has gained momentum and the faculty has been good (altough there r exceptions) but enjoying

i m a TYBCOM student and u must b knowing that ours is a theoritical course with not much practical exposure 2 the real market...
at jbims, do u find students like us or theres more crowd with work exp??
cud u also guide me how did u crack the CET mainly the GD PIs??

the batch profile of our batch is tht out of 120 there r 70 engineers, 10 bms, 10 bcom, then there r sum oddities like me(hotel management, b.sc stats, b.a)

only 40% of our batch has previous work exp.
while highest age is 27 yrs, youngest is 20.
modal age is 23 yrs.
