No body has posted on this forum for a long time abt the life in JBIMS except for shivam...

As a prospective JB student, I wud love to hear it from seniors like Jamil, Ashish, Shabbir and others about their experiences in Jb..
Wht the different events in JB are.. Wht are the different cultural activities happening thr..
Wht r the schedules for classes and exams like... Wht abt the infra of JB, JS Hall n ISH..

How abt a walk along the marine drive.. or few escapades in the arabian sea..

How abt summers and whn do they happen... Timings of final placements..

Do post any other experiences or things that you might like to share..

~Cheers

Hi puyz,

Me too lookin forward to joinin JBIMS this year...m an engg grad with 1 yr exp in an IT co...

Since JB is mostly a fresher's campus, is it that guyz with work-ex have an disadvantage? Heard this frm a JB alumnus, not sure wat kinda disadvantage he was talkin about...

Seniors...elaborate on this...

Regards,
baazigar

This is not really true.. Am too a work ex guy n wud be joining this summmer hopefully... As I can see, a lot of ppl here in JB r with work ex and from various background too.. There is no dearth of diversity on this front.. As with any other institute, barring a few exceptions like ISB, JBIMS does have a right mix of Fresher n Work-ex junta...

Comon guys, its time we sld revive this thread
Find some time between the goldratt and samuelson to punch in few tabs. So many of the PG regulars in the class, still no activity here

For me, this 1 month has been a new experience in many ways. Never got up at 5 in the morning consequently for so many days. But still cldnt mend my ways and start sleeping before 2. Never attended so many lectures/sessions in so little days. Infact, I feel, I have already attended more college than that I did in a full year at engineering. I am already putting on with no time to workout. I am amazed by the dominantly work ex-ed batch. We share a excellent cameraderie and made a lot of friends already. Though not much interaction with senior batch on a 1-to-1 level, but they are quite approachable. Attended a few GOD-level faculties and heard about some more that would be coming in for other sems.

But 1 thing I wish to change about this place is make it residential!

What's obvious is obviously wrong

Rightly said Nakul... Never attended college for that many long hours.. Now tht most of the activities are over.. I can expect myself to be a bit more regular in here.. Will try to write abt the life here at JBIMS in a few days to come..
