Finally got time to post this after 3 weeks @IMT...

It has been ages since I posted last time at PG Forum...

Landed here on 21st June
Week 1.. Orientation Week... Wonderful.. We attended Yoga sessions,met alumuni, attended orientation classes of every subject, attended sectorial presentation, presentation for various clubs and committees, had fun, played soccer at 2 am..done everything but dnt found time to sleep most of us dozed off while attending those classes

Week 2 and 3.. classes during the day time..got assignments for most of the subjects and interviews for clubs and committees in the night.. Though competition to get in to a committee was tough but never the less most of the Puyz ended up joining the committees of there interest..
Got some time to kick some balls (i mean football here)


Lots of activities in the queue for nxt 2 weeks Quiz, Case Studiesj presentations..and other events from Markup, Alcom and other committees.

Sports is a part of Life@IMT.. u name the game and we play it here..
Soccer/cricket/table tennis/lawntennis/basket ball on a daily basis.

Nightlife is awesome.. IMT never sleeps!!

Most of the facilities that we need are available inside the campus..I havent moved out of the Campus in the past 7 dys..

Food is good, library is open 24X7, whole campus has 24 hrs elecritcity backup..

It seems to me that i have been living here since long... Made a lot of friends.. we have a group of Pagal Bhasdis now doing bhasd here and there. Enjoying the student life once again...

So they have started....from today.... ....The most dreaded Q word....aarey Quizzes yaar....no not the cool ones conducted by IMT Quizzing Committee (They are a bunch of helluva guys I must tell u....Hats off to u guys people )....but the academic quizzes ....and they will make life tough for all of us here till Monday........

Nevertheless, the subjects are interesting....OB, MM-1, ME, QTBD and BC....The most challenging has been Accounting (FAM) but the faculty here is God-like....I sometimes wonder at her patience....Students ask doubts upon doubts and she clears them so patiently and explains things so lucidly that the concepts become crystal clear in just a minute........If I would have been in her place, teaching students, I would have not been able to take the pressure........But she makes us feel that Accounting is so easy that people here have no problem understanding all the concepts....Hats off to Barnali madam again

OB quiz tomorrow and still going through slides after having borrowed my room mates laptop....my laptop's display is screwed and it has been thrown in the HP service centre ...

Every day, something or the other organised by some club or committee goes on here.........Life never stops here.......Life never sleeps........IMT G is the place to be

Time flies by here at IMT With the rain gods finally making their presence felt, the evenings have become a little cooler
The previous Sunday evening was spent taking a stroll in the rain.
Phelt awesome Beast/himanshu can vouch for it

With the various club-committee interviews finally coming to an end , if one thought that one could finally get a breather ...well good luck
There is a barrage of quizzes lined up over the next few days

And then ofcourse there is the inter-section football tournament to look forward to this week

Hey ppl,

a small update on the Life at IMT.
IMT will now have its very own internal newsletter - Inno Novus. The inaugural edition is about to be launched end of this month.

What this gives IMT is a medium of information assimilation and dissemination. The newsletter wud cover all the events which took place during the month and hence will be like a summary report on all the activities.

Subsequent editions wud have a lot in terms of creative and humorous content.

As for life in general on campus - just one word - HECTIC !!

mid terms coming up and along wid that case studies and presentations.... so gotta rush now.

I agree with beast. Life is hectic....but we find time and means to do bhasad in whatever we have

Just to add to what beast said about new initiatives at IMT, we, the Sports Committee have started a intra-IMT tournament which goes on all session long. Its called League of Titans where the 15 sections of IMT battle it out for ultimate sporting glory in IMT...to be crowned The Titans.

The first event was just concluded. It was Calcio Rombo-the football tournament which was won by B2 section of second year. Our mid-terms are fast approaching, and immediately after the mid-terms, we start off with Slam Dunk!...the basketball tournament! Watch out for some insane hoop skills!

Hmmm,
The seniors mid-terms have ended yesterday. Within a span of 4 days the juniors will be facing the music.... Anyways..the seniors are busy applying for Short Term Projects while the juniors are flocking around the library. The freshers party is in the pipeline as well as 'FRENZIA' an event that is going to be conducted by the HR club 'HRuday'. The Media and Communications Committee will soon be out with its internal newsletter titled "Inno Novus" (Special mention of Abhishek for introducing it..). Lots of activity going on in the campus. Keep waiting for the updates..!!!
