What a nice....

Almost two weeks gone by and IMT feels like home already (The awesome mess food helps ) All the folks responsible behind the running of the mess take a bow

One of the highlights of the last two weeks was the culmination of the orientation week last Saturday with the cultural night going live on Sunday. Great show everyone

Made quite a few friends already.
Stuff I liked at IMT-

• Sounds cliched but I ll say it again the mess food is terrific
• Hanging out with friends
• The Amphi...this structure is something else
• playing tennis at 3 30 in the morning and then breaking the strings
• Doling out birthday bumps to the lucky ones

Well...Its really good to see enthu of new batch. U guys have really impressed us in very first week itself.

Just to tell you that everything that happens on campus has a purpose. Be it be PDP, selection procedure of committees etc. Everything has been well planned.
Please do take all things spiritedly and njoy to the fullest.

Its ur campus and ur dream, njoy it to the fullest.

PS - Its surprising that I havn`t met u all so far. Please approach and meet guys, would luv to know all of u personally.

@Toejam : Rarely do we get guys pitching in for college mess food, whichever col it might be..But then , here on this thread, you juniors are all gaga over the mess food ....Great going,coz the mess food IS good as a matter of fact..
And we also have to thank you ppl for being quite good sports during the PDP sessions.Needless to say, we had great interactions with you...

Now that classes have started , you will all be kept quite busy by the teachers..There will be many sleepless nights that you spend making PPTs..Sense of Deja Vu?? (PDP2.. )

But one thing is for sure, you will ENJOY this school..
So, keep rocking and give it up for IMT

We all shall meet. Its strange that we puys are interacting here and havent yet met as IMTians. Quite a lot of puys this time in IMT. Seniors, please specify some time and place for an informal meet for puy IMTians

Ahh..finally home and get time to key in my experience for the past 2 weeks. What a wonderful 12 days they have been! Will blog about the details soon...too tired right now.
But overall, one hell of a ride. It's been super awesome, every moment. I can't get enough of life at IMT. Rightly said, there is no sleeping..and always something or the other going on. Everything right from the start, the orientation week, the people who came to speak, the words coming from IMT alumni speak out for themselves. We are surely kickin a$$ in the corporate world. The PDP sessions, getting a 9-hour sleeper like me to hardly sleep for 4 hours in 7 days, has been a personal achievement for me..thanks to the seniors. We even had a presentation competition which my team won! The topic we had was "Portable potty".. and guess what we got in the prize..a used Jockey underwear! hahaha..The seniors have some sense of humour! And golly they arranged everything so well...complete activities for the 1st week for us here. Not a single day did we have nothing new to do! At the end the cultural night organized by the fresh batch was beyond words...so professional, went overboard laughing my a$$ off! Toooo much fun!!! Especially our group with the "naarebaazi" Metal and toejam would know what I'm talking about here..hehehe :P I'm thoroughly impressed how EVERYTHING in IMT is run by the students, which makes it so awesome. There are some really impressive people in the committees (I'm trying for some myself! :P )

I have to mention the faculty is simply superb..they are at par, if not better than the IIM ones for sure! To be honest, they cleared out all doubts I had whether I was going to the right college or not.

Playing basketball, which is right in front of my lobby, anytime of the day, and straight away going all sweaty to the mess for dinner is truly amazing fun! Oh the mess, like my fellow mates have already said, is heavenly! The food is so well balance, high in quality and variety can't be appreciated enough. Not even A SINGLE DAY since we have come to IMT has the menu been repeated. All of us, without fail, each day are bound to praise the food when we are at the mess table..it's soo...soo sooo good!

Have made quite a few friends already, as a matter of fact, its surprising how all us puys hit off with each other so well! Metal, toejam, me, phattu_tota, abhishek_beast, shirly to name a few. We form on helluva group! Yay!

heh...we are on the same floor sir, I'm in F-13 and we've met :P Guess what Metal said is very true, let's have an informal in house IMT PG meet. You'll be surprised to see how many puys are there in IMT!

Read that as "doling out birthday bumps to Apoorv"..ouch it still hurts. Had a blast that night...I'm so happy I got such great friends already in college. Thank you guys. That was really sweet of you all! Can't still stop feeling sorry for all the delicious you guys wasted away on my face

So you can see we're having a blast of a time till now..and I'm sure there's more to come. This was JUST the start...

I have no inhibitions in saying, yes, IMT is the place to be!!!

An IMT PG meet...........what an idea sirjees

Now tell me when, where and how.............yesterday abhishek told me about that and I have been waiting for further info eagerly........

have met a lot of puys here and keep on meeting them regularly ........but would like to know our senior puys who have done a lot of effort on the threads here for us........right from starting the thread announcing the sale of forms for IMT Ghz to clearing even silliest of queries in the doubts thread........would really like to meet the people who made us feel welcome to IMT Ghz even before us entering the gates ..........

have only seen vishal sir (on stage that is) and ameya sir (ameya_ahr) (ameya sir actually knows a person I am friends with here....a non-puy....he was talking to ameya sir about the Alcom....and i was standing there....after their talk got over, he said that was Ameya sir....I said yaar u should have told me that was Ameya sir, I would have offered a hand shake and would have said only a single sentence "I have read your post in All I Wanted To Speak About CAT "

Well another week passes at IMT... awesome to say d least. everything run by students itself...committee dedicated members... grilling assignments... google search... deadlines like 23:59:59.. its all part of our daily life now... but amazingly i m enjoying it ...

we all are like an IMT family...helping each other and getting knowledge sharing with others... IMT truly never sleeps and rocks at the max...

Have committee interviews in the night so gotta catch some sleep now..
