I was going through the summers 08 thread and surprized to see that only 3 puys have replied on it.. was reading the thread patiently for an hour.. 24 pages and only 3 IMTains bothered to check in !
Please throw some light on how good/great/ok the summmers were for you guys.
Would really appreciate your input !

halo seniors, I will be joining the PGDM(FT) this year. The thread takes one on a realtime journey at IMTG. Can some one indicate on which date are we to report at IMT? What is teh orientation programme all about? What are the activities undertaken in teh programme? When do we expect the regular classes to start?

no dress code as such though you might like to dress in formals for presentations etc and casuals for everythings need more details post a message

When does the process for summers start?How long is the process, does it goes own for month or just in week.
I believe summers is of 3 months then . is it?

Then when does process of final placement starts.

I know its too early to ask all dis, but just wanted to know a bit.

date of reporting is typically end june. orientation is nothing much but an introduction to everything at imt from faculty to subjects to clubs and committees followed by some other fun activities. regular classes start immediately after that. btw please join the community of your batch in orkut whose link is given below

this is not the right place to ask this query but u asked it by name from em so here it goes. summer placements process last year had a week followed by rolling placements process. summers are typically of around 10 weeks starting in april ending around june . finals process is typically a week in december though ppts start in july itself
