Hey Raghav and Mridul are u guys dead?? or too busy in enjoying the second year?

Well I guess Shankx and Co. passed on the mantle of keeping this thread alive to us and we are not doing a good job out of it..

Lets (both Seniors and Juniors) bring some life to this thread..I know I just keep exhorting without doing much myself.

Well as far as life in 2nd yr at SCMHRD is concerned, I guess we are more than making up for the lack of fun in the first year..Its the height of velagiri (read idleness) and somehow seeing the plight of the 1st yearites makes us nod our heads in the most erudite manner..Some ppl have found their long subdued passion for health and have hit the gym..What was a compulsion in the 1st yr is now completely voluntary...

With the no. of subjects coming down drastically, people are getting atleast double the volume of sleep they used to get in 1st year. The enterprising ones are participating the various B-school competitions something where we could not make much of an impact in the 1st year due to 'lack of time'. Paper presentations, case studies, B-plans..you name it, SCMHRDians are in the fray..One set of sportsmen are practicing volleyball so hard these days that it seems that there are seats reserved for sports quota in final placements.

Well on a serious note..I guess all of us enjoying the last few months of real freedom and bliss..As one of our batchmates recently said 'I am enjoying this void'...Because we all know that these simple pleasures of life will be a luxury once we hit the 'market'..

lemme take dis opportunity 2 inform every1 on PG ...that sakaal six sigma award was yet again a big hit this time.... thanks to subbu's speech .. n tremendous efforts put in by our dear .. roy saab, atmaram, pallo, ramjee n other core members f sig sigma team.

another news frm d campus, finally marketing club has seen the light of the day... an initiative taken by three seniors (anu saraf, siddartha n mridul) with support f three juniors(archit, mona n somya).
First activity by club was to put a bimonthly magazine (MARKET SQUARE ) get rolling.
Next was a maiden event frm the club Marketing Symposium'07 on the theme of Integrated Marketing Campaigns (IMC). This event was organized on 28th n 29th september within a month's time. It wz a 2 day event, where speakers from companies like Axis Bank, ITC, Perfitti, RK Swamy BBDO, Leo Burnett, Animax came n shared their views on IMC
Not to mention it was a superhit.

hi great to see your name taken in the cult before you make an entry. Yup juniors need to make a good show here in the light of the seniors. I hope we are gonna be here after the examination hysteria gets over. we have already packed our bags for the vacations until and unless oracle classes get scheduled. The public is still in the hangover of summer placements. Parties nd parties and more and more of fun. I think we have learned the culture of this place.

I hope this learing keeps on going in the next semesters to come.

third semester ka the end ho chuka hai 20 days pehle..
diwali holidays khatam ho gaye hain ..
for d first tym seniors r feelin dat juniors ki waat lagi hai .. arrey bhai .. just aftr 2 days of classes post diwali vacations dese ppl had dere FCQ ....
hehe ..
neways juniors dont mind .. muskuraiye ki aap SCMHRD mein hain *giant winks*

Sorry to crash into ur thread..
I`ve checked out the website for NEEV`07..Indeed a very tacky job done..
Its such a resource hungry website which is takin ages to load up even on my 2mbps connections..I`ve still not got thru the < CONTACT US > page..
So plz help me out and giime a contact no. of any of the organizers to get more info bout timings et al...

Also why are the dates clashing with SNAP07 or is it that this event is meant only for MBA students ???

even i faced similar problem with the website on my data card connection. But it was only today dat i faced this problem. M nt in college have been visiting website almost daily to check deadlines, results & other information. My overall experience has been good navigation is easy & theme is superb. You may call my views biased but i have got similar views from my friends in different other bschools.

Neways will inform with neev co-ordinators bout d issue.

Neev dis time is three day event starting from 15th to 17th. Invitation is open.
Nov-Dec is the period when most of the B-School organise their annual events. It just so happened that we had to fix 15th 16th n 17th for the mega event, as no other weekend waz free.

If ur in pune you can still enjoy the action of two mega events (Augustus n Rock Show) on 17th after snap.

I am not sure if neev team has uploaded event schedule for 15th, 16th n 17th, if not it should be up in few days.
